I've never understood why people think 0.0 is off limits.

Hell, all you have to do is join a 0.0 corp and move.

What?

Spoken like someone who hasn't even been to the existing NPC regions.

Don't insult, share with us these regions you speak of ?

Tal

I can't seem to see the insulting part.

On to regions, lets see... There's Venal, Great Wildlands, Outer Ring, Syndicate, Stain & probably a few more.

Just that ppl come on with short answers that usually claim the other person knows nothing without actual offering anything.

Tal

That's hardly insulting, unless you have an extremely fragile ego.

Curse is also NPC. You should try them out. NPC regions can be pretty fun & they're also rather empty, except for Syndicate.

Entire region of Curse - Serpentis and Angel Cartel
Entire region of Syndicate - Intaki Syndicate
Entire region of Stain - Sanshas Nation
Entire region of Venal - Guristas Pirates
Entire region of Outer Ring - ORE
Entire region of Great Wildlands - Thucker Tribe
Phoenix Constellation in Fountain - Serpentis and Angel Cartel
XPJ1-6 and 6-UCYU Constellations in Delve - Blood Raider Covenant
U-7RBK and 38G6-L in Pure Blind - Mordu's Legion and Sisters of Eve

All of the stations in these regions are open to anyone. They even have mission agents you can use.

All of them are sh*t to live in.

Theres even some in geminate too.

To the OP, the reason people assume you dont know anything is because you make terrible threads like these saying there isnt enough NPC stations proving you dont know anything...

There are at least 25 in curse at a very underestimated guess. Go actually look at NPC regions before saying there isnt enpugh.

Actually I don't start many threads, and as stated this was a troll against the move lvl 4s.

I have went north the other week, lots of empty 0.0 no stations (bar 2 player owned stations right at the top, the locals weren't friendly at all. asking me to leave the system as I was ruining there game lol), no population.

Its already been stated that there are great swathes of 0.0 out there that are deserts, these need to be made interesting.

And the response from Jafit

So now you have found that they exist AND YOU can go and visit them at any time (meeting your initial requests requirement) - what NOW do you want? Do you want to dock in ALL stations and for what purpose?

And ppl say that I am unfocused .....

I am aware of my own ignorance and have checked my emotional quotient - thanks for asking

No!

It would turn 0.0 into a cesspool filled low sec-type players.

But I have to charge

I know you want it,

In my view, 0.0 would be much easier to immigrate to "IF" certain sov holding alliances and corps would stop being such donkey head wear about recruitment. Their bovine posterior discharges about membership requirements, and the way they treat "renter" corps, keeps the population numbers low. To be honest, all they really want is more targets....

Well, bright star, to be return customers requires earning ISK in high sec for ship replacements, for every "Winner" there is a "Loser" who must now replace their stuff. Eventually, if you keep dumping your load of compost on high sec dwellers they will go find another game to play and you will still be an adolescent with hormonal issues and no girlfriend.

Just saying

It sucks that the only alliances that don't have renters and don't treat their friends like crap won't let the standard riffraff in, huh?

In my view, 0.0 is all player generated content.

Sadly those players fail to generate content that attracts anybody except ship shooters in any relevant numbers.

We are certainly in flame war territory.

I think the biggest impediment in null sec is that game mechanics allow the power blocks to hide behind their walls. There is no incentive to leave.

1) Limit corp size to 500 members.
2) Limit alliances to 5 corps max. with intelligent mechanics to prevent "alt-corps" from helping out in battles and system guarding/buffer zone type tactics.
3) Limit system Sov to 1 system per corp with 2 bonus systems for maxing corps in an alliance (2 systems owned by the Alliance and no single corp) - all systems must be adjacent forming a cluster.
4) Make moons, belts, planets deplete fairly quickly and recover fairly slowly, over time, such that the owners MUST seek new sources of raw materials regularly or die of "Technetium starvation". Then make the recovery variable, such that what was once a technetium moon becomes something else upon recovery, thus randomly relocating/shuffling all resources.
5) Then allow Sov in Lo sec so as many wimpy corps as possible can have a shot at system ownership.
6) Let the Powerblocks fight over all the cool resources ad infinitum with slowly replenishing resources available once is a while in their Sov systems.

I accept the flames as I'm sure forum warriors will shoot plenty of holes in these ideas. So I'll start the flames myself by pointing out that alt-corps can now easily act as helpers in many ways without Alliance/corp affiliation.

My real point is not any specific set of ideas, rather that things will not change until there are game mechanics that limit the size of any one entity, and give potent incentives to seek out and fight for juicy null sec resources. In fact, all out siege warfare would become a viable tactic if corps/alliances were limited to 7 or less adjacent systems. These basic concepts would allow for a much more dynamic null sec and accommodate regular transitions of power - assuming adequate game-mechanics are worked out.

The idea of POCO ownership was a nice try. But in the systems I travel and do business, I only see the same corps owning the same POCOs ever since they torched the InterBus COs and replaced with their own. No real long term stirring up of the PvP game that I can see. By all means, correct me if what I see in my patch of sky does not reflect reality. I believe something much more profound must happen if things are going to change and wide spread conflict is to be induced.

I do applaud the Goons. Burn Jita was brilliant. The scary thing is that The Mittani said that next time, there will be no warning. This is epic. This is the spirit of EvE. This is stepping out from the protection of their borders with guns blazing. However, they can afford this level of destruction exactly BECAUSE they are allowed to hoard celestial resources in (essentially) protected space while building an enormous empire.

I doubt anything will change any time soon, if ever.

I can only hope you think this'll actually decrease the price and aren't just trolling, that would make this whole post awesome.

Limit bubbles in NPC space. That would be interesting.

If someone craps in your sandbox: 1. Light it on fire 2. Grab your shovel 3. Throw it back at them.
