I've done this, it's fun!

I lose +3's all the time. I wouldn't even plug +5's in on a character that I was planning on even logging into for the next month save to set skills.

Even my cap pilot usually sticks to +3's because I like to take the occasional small droneboat out and get blewn up.

I know you are right. But like the OP, I often wont use my jc because I don't want to go into lower implants. I need Eve therapy or something. I must learn to let go.

I swear, I'd take on much more risk if the moved the jc timer to every 20 hours, or once per downtime or something similar.

Haven't been too active on this character lately, but 99% of my activities are pvp in high-sec and wormhole space, and considering that over half of my fights are solo and I'm usually outnumbered, I am forced to use high-end pirate sets just to stay remotely competitive. That's anywhere from 500 million to 2 billion inside my head at any given time. On top of that, the grand majority of my income comes from pvp.

I play since 2007 somtime im so tired form this game that i dont care about my sp, belive me or not i lose around 5-7mil sp or more during few years, just becuse somtime im to lazy to login even days long to swich skills while even i realize my skill are in totaly off mode... Im not SP slave

Ps.I have one +5 set but not in usage pass 5 years... just becuse im happy with my +4 set... Is just my museum relict.

If you want feel comfortably in this game stop care about every single skill point...

Like others have said you have to stop worrying about SP you will have tomorrow and play the game today. You will really limit your ability to have fun in this game if you can never leave your +5s. And if you won't leave your +5s just PvP in highsec where the odds of you losing a pod are low.

The problem with +5's is it takes like 4 years to get back the time you lost training Cybernetics V

It's better to avoid training that imo, because when I have in the past, I sort of felt the same way OP did. It feels good to be training at MAX SPEED and it's sad to go to +3's

Cybernetics V also allows the usage of Omegas and mindlinks. It is in no way a bad skill to train.

I have 2 +5s and 3 +4s and some 5% hardwirings in my head. pvped with them a bunch! I cba to jumpclone unless I need to go a bunch of jumps asap!

on that note infomorph psych is only rank 1 I should really do it to 5, tempted to get a pirate implant set or two.

I PvP in my +5 set all the time. Mostly it's because I am lazy and forget to JC, and then lose because I have none of my hardwirings in and I'm like why the **** am I going so slow... So OP, man up.

Edit: I would also like to note that before attribute swaps I was a high memory attribute character. So don't tell me about ****** training times without your precious +5 implants.

You didn't PVP because you're risk averse, not because you have the wrong implants.

The difference between +5's and +3's is 180 SP's an hour. Assuming your skill training is optimised to your stats, you're talking the difference between approximately 2400 and 2600 SPs an hour, for one whole day. And if that's the reason you aren't PVP'ing, well, I have a sneaking suspicion you have an endless list of other reasons you "never get the chance to PVP"
