First of all let me apologise if this is being posted in the wrong forum area, it's actually going to be my first post. Consider me more of a fly-on-the-wall ;-

Anyway, EVE Client has been running fine since last patch, but today I'm getting the following error when attempting to run the launcher. Anyone fluent in Python or has seen something similar, I'd appreciate ideas on how to get around this. Bearing in mind I'm trying to log in from a crappy network in a hotel atm, I'm going to try tomorrow and see if it's still popping. Anyway

Traceback reports "error 61 (connection refused)"

"Not importing directory '/Applications/EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/lib': missing //__init__.py", #<#type# 'exceptions.ImportWarning'>, 19): True, ( #"Not importing directory '/Applications/EVE Online.app/Contents///Resources/lib/python2.7/lib-dynload/PIL': missing __init__.py", #<#type 'exceptions.ImportWarning'>, 191): True, ("Not importing //directory '/Applications/EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/lib/python2.7/lib-dynload/wx': missing __init__.py", #<#type //'exceptions.ImportWarning'>, 13): True//

[...]

Thanks in advance for your help.

I was on an airport wifi and had something similar occur. I think the issue is if you start the launcher before getting through the hotel/airport web portal, the launcher will get confused.

The solution for me was to:

1. quit the launcher
2. move the file /Applications/EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/cache/mac_launcherinfoTQ_inc.txt out of the way (save a backup, in case this doesn't fix it). Deleting it could probably work too but I like to be safe :)
3. restart the launcher

and all was well.

The contents of that file were pretty clearly the hotel/airport wifi login page instead of what they were supposed to be.

My launcher crash when Mumble is running. I need to start EVE first and then Mumble to avoid crashing.
