I think is totally sucks. It's like they just threw it together without testing it. I could've tested this for an hour and made a huge list of things that is wrong with it.

I still have difficulty understanding how so many people in this game don't understand the simple mechanics of looting.

I have gotten more adept at using it. Still is slower than the old one especially for something like large amounts of salvaging.

Also periodically I put something in the wrong tab and then have to look through all of my containers to find it. I'll live.

what a suprise !!!!!! a new " i hate change " thread!!!!!!

As luck would have it, the new inventory isn't bad because it's new or because it has changed. It's bad because it's bad.

It's based on poor and outdated design principles and aimed at solving imaginary problems without any kind of input or data collections on what issues there were that needed to be solved. Once it has regained the speed, performance, functionality, versatility, customisability, reliability, and robustness of the old UI, it will be good. There's still a ways to go before we get there…

Does that mean we have to get 100 threads about the same thing?
With all respect, but there are threads made by Devs in the information part of these forums.

I dunno if I were a UI guy I'd take a cue from file managers like Norton Commander and design an inventory window that way

because seriously everything in one column is dumb

npc alts have no opinions worth consideration

True. Unfortunately, the majority of them have turned out to be rather useless for providing feedback that sticks…

Ok, my inventory is done loading... back to the game.

Yeah, last night my inventory window just spun and spun like a bad day on Youtube. After several minutes I undocked but nothing happened. So I logged off and logged on to find myself leaving the station (no emergency warp). This is wonderful. Roll

Happens at least once a day. I hear it's OK if you don't leave system.

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

I made the title of this thread pretty easy to understand. If you don't want to read these threads then don't click on them.

Or are you just ignorant?

The inventory is broken. If you don't see it then you haven't played the game. I don't post these because I just feel like b1tching, I post them because they f'ed something up that was fine. I like some aspects of the new inventory, I'll admit, but the fact that it lags out, changes holds without need, and is impossible to use quickly (among other things) is purely the fault of CCP's devs not listening watching the forums.

I've been gaming for many years and even I know that the first place people go to b1tch about stupid changes is right in this very spot. How do the devs NOT know this? They are either complete morons, or are ignoring sound advice. Either way, they, and you, suck.
