CCP needs to take a hard look at Goonswarm and Hulkageddon to save EVE.

On the topic of the goons EvE is a sandbox. As long as they don't break the rules they can do what they want. I personally don't care what they do. Suicide ganking existed before the goons started supporting it and will continue after they stop supporting it. Its a part of the game, just deal with it and move on.

This game allows married men(or basement nerds) do what they are afraid of doing in RL because of consequences. "It's not real" is not an excuse, because you are still dealing with real people. You certainly wouldn't kill, wouldn't gang up or steal for "lulz" in RL, why do it in the game ? Given the state of this game/forum i'll think of everyone as a cutthroat mug who is after personal satisfaction.

I just want to tell you that I'm never ever playing a Draw Four card in a game of Uno again.

Jesus! I didn't realize there were such sensitive feelings at stake as this. I can't imagine how my Scrabble opponents have all felt all this time.

Games may no longer be for me.

On second thought I'm going to keep playing Draw Fours, and when I play Scrabble I'm going to keep playing as many two-letter words as possible to block off as many of my opponents' plays as possible.

I will continue to game and use my knowledge and abilities to win. Even if it sometimes makes people cry.

They can learn a lesson in humility and sportsmanship from it or some ****.

How many times do you people have to be told that the only real limiting factor in EVE right now is time, so if you absolutely want to make force projection harder to do, then you need to make the act of moving f.ex capitals/supercapitals take more time than they do now.

Thats because hes talking ****, again.

On a more positive note i have to agree with Lord Zim, cost is not enough of a balancing factor when you have in game alliances with passive ISK incomes in the tens or hundreds of billions per month. Things like cyno spoolups, jump drive cooldown timers and other timesinks are the only real way to balance things like that without having to gut and rebuild a huge portion of the game in the process.

In the same way that a car is controlled by a person but that does not mean a Mercedes is a human being.
