Now we can activate tactical grid that creates overlay in space useful for quick estimation of distances, equipment and weapon ranges and so on. Utility of this could be additionally improved if you would attach vector to each ship on grid, including pilot's ship. Orientation of vector would indicate direction of ship's movement, and length vector would indicate speed of the ship. Additionally you could colour code those vectors for additional information like signature radius or something else. This would be extremely useful in combat improving player's situation averages immensity.

Naturally this additional information should be optional, so people that want to use current version of tactical grid should deactivate additional speed vector information.

There is so much information in the overview that could be displayed on the tactical.

If it is shown on the overview then it can be added to the tactical.

Also a setting for the color of the text:

ie. Show the angular velocity of the target on the tactical overview and let me decide when the numbers go red/yellow/green based on the tracking speed of my guns. No more hunting numbers while missing every shot.

This alone I think is a very good improvement -- angular should go red if over my guns tracking speed, velocity red if it exceeds my missile velocity.

This would be a lot more like the kinds of displays that the military uses today. Why not make them in a game that's supposed to be set in the very distant future.

I really like this idea, Sofia. It can help a fleet commander or solo fighter in making more accurate decisions in a battle that may or may not make a difference, but the tool itself being there would be extremely useful to any player.
