So I went to buy a bulk load of 425mm Rails I in Jita and what do I find? No sell orders. Not one. Looking under the history it seems people are buying them up and manipulating the market.... or something. Anyone have thoughts on what is going on?

With as high as trit and pyerite are getting someone probably just bought them to refine.

Thought there had to be more to it than compression, when I dealt with compression it was mostly with cit torps if I recall correctly. Though that was a while ago.

4 runs guns to 10 runs torps gives you a pretty good battleship compression ratio. Or maybe it's the other way around - it's been awhile since I've dealt with it.

Well if compression is the reason behind this BS then CCP needs to "fix" it just like they "fixed" the other compression industries - or stop gimping industry and manufacturing and instead grow some balls and test their changes while thinking ahead. Industrialists are the REAL fuel behind the EVE economy.

Pyerite is at 11 today.

This wasn't for compression.

I'm a little confused what your beef with compression is, though - by its nature it enables industry and manufacturing. It simply enables it in 0.0.

I bought them all, and turned them into isk.

edit - looks like I didn't actually buy all of them in Jita, I'm sure someone else just beat me to it when the mineral prices rose yesterday.

I recently purchased about 10 of these BPO's in Jita researched, so thats 10 researched blueprints less not being manufactured for the 425's

as a matter of fact very recently im seeing ALLOT of people liquidating researched BPO's, the market instability is, perhaps putting Excessive stress on the small and semi-small Industrialists.

Perhaps its just summertime coming so people are pulling out their ISK to reinvest elsewhere?

You misunderstand me, I have no beef with compression at all.

That is a negligent amount of BPO and research for this product. The fact that people are selling them with such a "research" quantity should be evidence enough that something more is going on - or - that you simply bought researched BPO because it was more cost effective than buying them unresearched and putting in the isk to improve them yourself.
