I hope they can deliver on this there certainly heading in the right direction now it seems and im incredilby happy about that because I love Eve so much but the past year or so I have played less and less because I was so annoyed at where eve was heading and it just seemed to get worse as the months went on

Thats exactly why I said respect, but not trust. I've got good enough pattern recognition to see what might happen next, it wouldn't be the first time CCP promised the moon but delivered a rock.

Still, I respect Hilmar for recognizing the errors his company have made, and even more so for deciding to take personal responsibility for it, which he didn't have to. Blame could have been spread around. The fact that it wasn't implies that there is genuine effort and reform going on.

I respect, I hope, but I do not yet believe.

Were it him I could trust having actually had the soul searching he pretends to have had on his own, not because he got in trouble, Id have respect.

Extreme overconfidence is a staple character trait of Icelandic men. Some would say that was the direct cause of their current debt. It would have been stereotypically in character and probably (I don't know for sure) socially acceptable for Hilmar to tell his PR people to cram that suggestion up their arse.

I'll now stop trying to persuade you, because its to everyones advantage to have skeptics around, but I believe that the apology is sincere.

Like i have said in the past..deeds not words. When we see new ships in sisi.When the clusterfck that was made of nullsec is undone.Then and only then we can make nice and be bronies.All i see is a man talking to save his job and fighting to get back the 30% of his customer base that told the corp to stick it we are out of here.Twisted

I never lost respect for Hilmar. Well, maybe a bit when he caved to the vocal minority.
