World of Darkness is going to be even more niche than EVE, IMO, from the material I read on it. On closer inspection, I do not think it's going to be a more competitive product than EVE is. EVE will most likely stay the forefront MMO for CCP in development as things go forward.


Other than that, what's your main position that this is just Panem et Circenses based on?


I think the Winter Expansion is looking different than we expected for a few reasons. I for one believed that getting Establishments out by Winter was just not going to happen. Not done correctly. Customization, NPCs, Mini-games, Concourse(?), handling multiple establishments, choosing multiple establishments, players owning them, Booster trading in establishments, player controlled booster policing, new boosters in general. All of that in the time frame it took to release the last 3 CQ's? I knew it wasn't going to happen.

The promise of the Winter Expansion is mostly iterative, at this point. I don't see anything particularly new being highlighted.

Is that a good thing? I'd say so - except the main thing that I think is the crux of the deal I"m not seeing there - Null Sec improvements, and was the main discussion point from BFF as of recently. No mention of that? Do they need more time to design? Any adjustmens?

SuperCap balances are definitely a part of the Null Sec fix, as far as I'm concerned, but where are the rest of the meat and potatoes from the Null Sec discussion?

Miila never has an opinion except to bellyache like a five year old.

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.
