I love how CCP blantantly denies any type of reimbursement what so ever. Even when you prove it is an issue on thier end.

Lost a ship on a can flipper a while back due strictly to the flagging system not working. In fleet and in same corp and in same system. Guy flips a can and engage. However they never flagged to my corp mate. Only one ship that was repping flagged. They had atleast two ships repping however only the flipper and 1 ship flagged for me at first. After a while the second repper finally flagged, however a 4th ship that was helping with drones never did flag. Out of all of this only the first ship that repped flagged for my corp mate. They even tried firing just to see and got warning that if they conitue concord would pop them. CCP of course claims that it had to be a client issues that they were actually flagged. Even the can flipper said that other then the one ship repping they never had a flag to attack my corp mate.

You would think a company would own up to having some issues once in a while instead of trying to come up with lame ass excuses simply to not have to make a reimbursement.

I lost a Raven once to 3 officer spawns because it got magically hung up in an asteroids dark matter. I, too, did not receive a reimbursement from CCP that day. My problem was further compounded after complaining to my corpmates who soon replied quite incredulously, 'You lost your Raven to what now?'

You make a valid point, good Sir or Madam.

I got some ships reimburshed long ago.... if I remember correctly, the our own POS went balistic and killed half the corp. One of the guys frapped it and we got shiney new ships back.

I lost a ship once because the server crashed while I was in a plex. CCP reset the server, which in turn, reset the plex and erased ALL the wrecks. They would not reimburse me for the "Items that dropped". Even though there never was a drop. I logged back in with a pod and no wreck was there.

F*cking horrible reimbursement policy. Terribad business practice. Thieves of the lowest caliber imo. They literally stole my stuff.

They did say "sorry for your loss, best wishes blah blah blah".
If only burglars and bank robbers were aware of this fix all (F*ck off) statement....

I am a software tester and the favorite response from ever Dev I have ever worked with is:
"Works fine for me. Can't reproduce."
And then ignoring everything from then on, even sometimes when I prove it on another machine I get "It is just your machines being screwed up, the software is fine."

Absolute tosh mate. I had a petition open for 5 days requesting assistance with getting back a whole load of stuff that went POOF. This stuff had actually been deleted, gone, forever, after a mishap by my noob corpmate (and real life friend). And you know what? I was polite and nice to the GM who answered my petition, and they and another GM got me my stuff back. This task took days of work, and at no point was I ever given any "lame ass" excuses, in fact, no excuses of any kind.

So stop talking out of your behind. I'm sure everyone here can sympathise with losing a ship, under most circumstances, but to assume that every single reimbursement petition is handled the same way is erroneous at best, and at worst it undermines the hard work the GM's and Dev's do.

You can do numerous things in your situation. File a bug report, ask the people involved to do the same so that CCP have the story from multiple angles, and if you aren't satisfied with the answer you got to your petition, then ask for it to be escalated and have the bug reports taken into account as well.

Crying on here won't do you one bit of good. All you'll end up with is trolls and people telling you GTFO, HTFU or STFU.

Grats, you're the exception, especially if your friend screwed up.

They somehow managed to get every freak and creep in the universe in this one game, and then somehow managed to let them take it over, and then they somehow managed to stick us right smack in the middle.
