The new inventory system is bugged, I logged in last night to my miner/industry alt and just about shat myself, as ALL of my BPO's, ore and mods were missing from my main station.

At first I thought it was just a filtering glitch, but after a good 30 mins of playing with filters & also checking the assets window, it was clear all my good ships and stuff from this station was gone, where stuff I had elsewhere was not and still showing.

at first I thought I may have been hacked, despite having rock solid AV/malware protection and intelligent enough to avoid the usual hacker pitfalls. Scans and comparing to old hijack logs didnt reveal anything.

Then I stumbled into the Science and industry section to check on some queued jobs, and oddly, the BPOs were all shown on the blueprint tab there ... I tried to Manufacture one, and it complained that I had no ore (further proof it wasn't just filtering)

oddly, after doing this, that single BPO appeared in my item hanger. I repeated this process and got all my BPOs back,

next I went on to trying to find my missing ores and mods, now thinking this was just a glitch. On the search portion of the Assets window, I punched up Tritanium, low and behold it was there, but still did not show on the ALL items tab .. Bizzare huh ?

So I basically spent hours contracting all the items to my main character, and then back again and got most of it back .. really annoying.

EDIT: CCP did respond, they are aware and looking into this, apparently affects a small number of people

anyone else experience something like this ?

Yes, definately a fun new part of this "improved" UI.

I think this was under the features listed as security, so if by chance your account had been compromised, the perpetrator would have thought you had nothing worth taking and left you alone.

Holy smokes am I glad I found this! I was about ready to throw my computer out the window when I saw that my main hangar was completely empty. The "contract with another toon" idea worked great. Except I had to re-insure all of the ships that were in the station.

Hey guys I had some info about it.

The bug seems to be caused by deliveries in some way, couriers, manufacture jobs, corp deliveries and such. I have filed a bug report and CCP has responded within an hour saying that it's an existing bug and they are looking into. For all of you already in this thread or read it in the future make sure to file a bug report. CCP has stated a few times that they used the amount of bug reports on a specific defect to gauge how badly widespread it is and helps them determine its fix priority. The more we report it the sooner they're try to fix it.

Contracting around does work.

Undock and you should see all your stuff as normal in the assets window...for some reason it only makes stuff disappear when you are docked there. Using the assets window do an item exchange to an alt and then use the alt to send it back. (Since this can be done remotely the alt can be anywhere, even a WH) Once you get it back everything should be fine.

Make sure to contract EVERYTHING cause then the stuff that WAS showing up might now switch places and disappear when the contract comes back. Don't know this for sure but I wasn't gonna try it xD
