Presenting Operation: Dread Intrusion, a fleet going to VFK.

Yes, it's a blog link. I originally wrote it there, and I'm not dicking around trying to fix the formatting after a copy-paste.

- People who fail to read the plan, but post an opinion on it anyway, will be ignored.
- People blatantly trolling will be reported for it.

If you have a comment on the plan, leave it here, not on the blog, please. It makes it easier to keep all the responses etc. in one place =)

Cool, now we just have to make sure Goonswarm doesn´t learn about it to conserve the surprise element....

Oh...

I got lost in thought... it was unfamiliar territory.

Hey, it's up to the alliance what they plan to do once they're in. The fleet's part of the plan is getting them in there. Smile

(I do freely admit though, it's not a good plan. Worth a try though.)

Seriously...I'm guessing you're like twelve, in which case this is cute.

If not...you need to skill yourself.

I read it, but seriously, that can hardly be called uncertainty, because timing and deployment routes aren´t difficult to find out if you are looking for it.

Actually, i wouldn´t mind taking part in it, just because the plan is so crazy that it´s going to be funny to take part in.
In fact it is so crazy that the Goons probably would really be totally surprised and baffled if it is ever going to happen...

How long will this take? I can't devote too much time to this because I'm just a casual player and I have to mine for at least 4 hours a day to pay for a plex.

More attention for Goonswarm is not the answer, but have fun with the fleet while you feed the endless ego.

The idea is that each ship's trip to VFK takes place over several days to avoid easy detection, logging off in empty systems or rally points as needed. I'm afraid if you need to be at a specific place (i.e. mining) during the course of the operation, you'd need to use an alt for one of the activities. Sad

I recommend bringing more than super caps alone. The last time this was tried was before the Crucible expansion's adjustment of Supercarriers and Titans, and it resulted in the 5 POS dropped in VFK being torn down and bubbled extensively, with all fleets sent in to break out those ships by killing their bubbles fought on the gates in.

By all means, please come to VFK. You'd be a fresh face from the usual ~40 man roaming gangs that come through, provided you make it to the system.

And how is my alt supposed to pay for his plex if he is off galavanting around goon space? Sheesh some people are so pushy. If I wanted to be ordered about by ego maniacs I would be in a 0.0 alliance.
