See, now we're all happy and having a picnic and whatnot, it's great. I'm just terrified that the first fleet we run as a joint militia fleet will be the same fleet that Grath fc's for the first time. And then we're going to have some real diplomatic issues.

"If I have to say one thing about the minmatar, they have their act together, they are usually uniformed fleets with good numbers and good organisation. "

I read this and did a spit take.

The only real dividing line now is that we hate teamspeak, and are currently hosting a 2000 man Mumble server anyone in the militia is welcome to use (with Auth integration soon (tm)).

This shouldn't be a dividing line at all. Almost all professional pilots have already installed most of the used com programms (ts, vent, mumble), and downloading and installing any of it requires ~5 min. Compared to fleet assembling and preparation time, this is nothing.

Type of comms used is chosen by fleet commander, who is your chief-in-charge, master, dad and God in one person. Those, who can't be on requested comms, are same to those, who bring unwanted ships: in best case - dead or useless, in worst case - threat to the whole fleet.

When you make a fleet, you command everyone to be in your mumble. When you join 7ths fleet, you join their comms.
Those, who can't follow this simple procedure, should be kicked from fleet.

As I said, this shouldn't be a dividing line.

I fight for the Caldari State, but in Amarr militia.

Any destruction of the enemy is ultimate goal for me.

If you can make a fleet, that will destroy minmatar or gallente fleets, I will fight and die for you.

A Big Thank You to any and all that helped in reclaiming Raa, Lamaa and tonight Kurn.

Thanks for all the diplo's, FC's and CEO's for working behind the scenes and making things happen.

Currently the minmatar are taking blow aafter blow. We look forward to the next system takeover that is pretty much happening now on an average on one system every two to three days.

Keep up the good work.

It's more of a dividing line in that, we have so many members in our mumble at any given time, we quickly fill a wing or two, and go do 'things', typically with an alliance wide fleet advert- we keep trying to open things to the militia but 24th guys are really good at making us unwary of that.

But- we love having other people from other Amarr corps join us to do things; and have no qualms with you guys hopping in our mumble, taking a fleet channel, and telling our nerds to do things either. Or joining a fleet channel and seeing what we are up to.

Tbh the problem you're having is that everyone expects the other corps to do things in a certain way. Which, realistically speaking is never gonna happen. You're not gonna see fweddit in dreads more then you are gonna see w-br in rifters.

So most effective is to coordinate so everyone gets to do what they can do. If you have a plexing push, let general militia do cruisers, let fweddit run around in thrashers for minors, and put w-br in t3s and guardians in majors. If there's a big fight, put w-br in caps, put gen militia in neuting bs, and ask fweddit to bring a lot of thrashers and shoot whatever they find appropriate just so enemy guardians/triage will get spammed with tons of armor broadcasts.

THIS is entirely too reasonable.

A note about team speak coms and joining other fleets. Even with my oddly inconsistent play times there has almost always been a fleet up or forming within Fweddit that I can join. I think given a choice most people tend to stick with their own Alliance. So long as the leadership is at least a tiny bit coordinated it will all go reasonably well.

We certainly seem to be making some great progress as a Militia now. I log in daily to a nice large mixed fleet which tends to be capping a system and PVPing :)

Amarr uprising in full swing!!

Thanks to the FC's who are now regularly taking out fleets!!

I address you tonight not as a Leader, not as an FC, but as a citizen of the Amarrian Empire. We are faced with the very gravest of challenges. The Pax Amarr calls this day "Armageddon" - the end of all things. And yet, for the first time in the history of the race, a species has the technology to prevent its own extinction. All of you praying with us need to know that everything that can be done to prevent this disaster is being called into service.

The Amarrian thirst for excellence, knowledge, every step up the ladder of science, every adventurous reach into space, all of our combined modern technologies and imaginations, even the wars that we've fought have provided us the tools to wage this terrible war. Through all the chaos that is our history, through all of the wrong and the discord, through all of the pain and suffering, through all of our times, there is one thing that has nourished our souls, and elevated our species above its origins, and that is our courage.

The dreams of an entire race are focused on those brave souls traveling into the battlefields. And may we all, citizens the faction over, see these events through.

God speed, and good luck to you.
