quick question about war decs

so in the space of like 3 weeks the same 1 person corp has wardecced twice, they dont log on, they dont undock they dont carry the war on. they dec wait for it to expire then do it again.

i'm just wondering if thats legit?

Where's your problem? It's just that one person losing money. Add her to the watch list, so you know when to expect trouble, if she logs on. Problem solved.

only asking cause i havent played in a war deccing corp, ony other time i was decced was as a consequence of somene being angry at a fellow corp mate who flew in cursions, im not fussed i dont incursion naymore.

I guess i was wondering if it was "allowed" to repeatedly wardec and let it expire without actually doing anything.

if its all good then its all good, hope the person enjoys wasting thier time and isk lol. If they want me, they'll have to undock from jita 4 and come find me cause i hate jita

No, you just seem to be confused about how EVE works. Around here, if the game allows you to do something, it is "legal" (*). The GMs won't go tell you what you should do and what you shouldn't. There is no "right" or "wrong". There is only the winner and the loser.

If he manages to scare you into docking or dropping corp just because of a wardec, he wins. If you ignore his empty threats and go on with your life, you win. If you get careless, start ignoring the war, and he catches you unprepared, you lose.



(*) The singular exception being baiting newbies in starter systems.

yeah i understand now i attribute my question to lack of sleep and not getting caffiene fast enough lol

i'll just laugh at the guy sitting in station rubbing his hands together and carry on my merry way.. and bring him suffering if he ever shows up in my end of space. My corp is (slightly) larger than his so he will be paying the price for that too? Or does that only apply to large corps
