Thanks for clearing that up. I'm not going for the full wrap-around eyefinity effect, just more room for overview, chat and market windows etc.

You could also take a look at a used 6870. Great card that will run EVE with ease.
(or a 6850)

If you don't want to buy a second hand card, I'd go with the 6770.
