I'm not sure who the genius was that tried to tank Arbalest cruise launchers to 12K but they have a reproc of 35K right now. The inventions value is 1.5 mill, they will never see that number because the demand for T2 cruise isn't there but you won't get them below 35K without crashing Megacyte first.

you know how buy orders have a price and quantity?

Well if you try to sell, say 10,000 Units onto a buy order only for 1000 units, then 9000 show up as sell orders, that is if the seller doesn't want to save ISK by using the "Instant" feature.

You also know it defaults as Simple? You need to set it to advanced to get it to sale the stack and even then it will only sale it to the highest order and leave the stack on the market. You can't send markets from 60K to 12K by accident and undercut your own reproc profit by 300%.

shouldn't you be busy raging about goons instead of some supposed manipulation of some minor market item?

yes, you can tank an item down by misclicking and type-oing a zero.

You set a sell order for 10,000 units with one zero short of the actual number as the price. let's say 6K instead of 60K
All the buy orders down to the 6K price would get filled in their turn until the sell order depletes. It can magically deplete at 12K. resulting in this "manipulation".

in short, combine a latenight trader with fat fingers and you've got an "oops i did it again" incident.
we've seen way worse than those though.. i mean, the item is worth 60K and isn't moving like tritanium.

And frankly, why do you care enough to post it on MD? people feel that anything that goes on the markets starts and ends in the MD
