I see the ones i can rent but i'm wondering if you can get access to these via corporate offices on a station? I'm in a one man corp so if i rent an office at a NPC corp will i get a slot there?

Thanks!

No, you don't get "personal" slots in stations. They're all publicly rentable, so lowsec will probably have shorter queue times.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

You can get your very own slots in two ways:

- Setting up a POS and anchoring a mobile laboratory.
- Building an Outpost (the Caldari one gives the most research slots).

^^ Both of those are corp activities, and the slots are corp controlled.

There is NO way to get your own private Research slots (unless you privately control your corp). Lowsec will have the lowest Research Ques, but is also much more dangerous to operate in. Covert Cloaky ships and quick to align ships are the best way to travel, and be weary of warping from-a-gate-to-another-gate as smartbomb BS's can blow up a ship in warp.

I accept BPO contracts at NPC sell price for research jobs.

Just contract the BPO to me at any trade hub, and send me an EVE-mail with detailing how much research you want done.

I don't charge for research jobs with collateral under 500m.

You could run a small research pos by yourself if you combine that with other incomes you already pull in.

I would not try to run a pos all by yourself right off the bat as you will be paying monthly fuel costs and will need to pay for that before you start seeing returns on your investment.

Plus mobile research labs are pretty pricey.

Noir. and Noir Academy are recruiting apply at www.noirmercs.com I Noir Academy: 60 days old must be able to fly at least one tech II frigate. I Noir. Recruits: 4:1 k/d ratio and can fly tech II cruisers.

The short of it is there are no available research slots in NPC labs. Even in the remote areas of lowsec, you will always find queue times in the days. Best bet is to grind standings and form up your own research corp. Then deploy a lab POS in hisec somewhere.

You can also do this in lowsec without standings, but expect to lose the POS eventually, at least put that in your planning.

Low Sec public research labs have queues about 10 days shorter than you'll find in high...though you'll be waiting more than a week even with them just to start your research.

Depending on what you need to research, it can be a viable alternative. If you pick a few good BPOs and set them all to research at a low sec lab (and flip them to some PE research, which never has wait times) you can have a few fully researched BPOs within a month, which is more than enough if your skills are focused on manufacturing and the goods in question sell in high volumes.

If you are more science focused and will be doing inventing and/or BPC selling, getting access to POS labs is the only way to go.

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

As nobody answered it yet properly IMO

Personal slots are the industrial slots that a Rorqual with industrial core activated offer to compress ores/ice.
Those are only open to you and nobody else in EVE.

Personal channel: Crazy Dutch Guy

Help channel: Help chat - Reloaded

Public roams channels: RvB Ganked / Redemption Road / Spectre Fleet / Bombers bar / The Content Club

Get standings and anchor a POS in high-sec otherwise wait for the station slot to be free

He asked about open research slots....

To my knowledge, not even a rorqual provides personal research slots...
