@Lockout: Let me put it this way. You are in a system with three or four of your friends. In comes a 'KNOWN' opposing militia booster alt. Without alt tabbing to your neutral eyes 9 out of 10 times there is a OMG swarm on the other side of the adjacent system. and woah and behold here comes the bait.

If it's our booster alt, prolly all that's coming after is either Sekh or GrauW, pissed drunk.

We need you to reclaim the Minmatar from the drudge, chaos and inhumanity in which they currently dwell, and into God's light. We are their angels. We must be their saviors. By your power they shall be rescued from the dark. God wills it, and so it shall be.

Nice to see the Amarr Adapting and actually turning the tables against the minnies now.

With the reclamation of Lamaa, Raa, Kurniainen and Oyoman in pretty much less than a week one is left to wonder.

When will the Minmatar fight back?

It is my humble opinion the true colors of the minmatar are showing as they do nothing organized to hold onto their systems with all the minmatar chest beating and mad land grab pre-inferno being due to the faulty capture mechanics (system flipping in one time zone) and nothing else. While the Amarr are showing that when the battle prolongs and turns into a trench warfare campaign, they are and will be victorious.

While it may be premature. If I was the minmatar I would start thinking about an evacuation.

One tactic the Amarrians use, iv seen, is killing each other in Kamala.

Iv past Kamala every night the past two weeks, and every night iv seen complaints in local:

"DONT SHOT ME YOU MORAN IM IN YOUR FACTION!!"

Its been amusing to watch.

Or sitting on a gate in Kamala and some Amarrian deside to shot at me, you see a shockwave of Amarrians shooting each other having more and more going GCC.

Ie, when Amarrians are around HELL breaks lose and no GOD will protect them.

You know, when you can all by yourself destroy small minmatar gang, say, for example, from forementioned Late Night Alliance, consisting like from a cruiser, destroyer and couple frigs, you understand, that their numbers cost nothing.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

There is no incentive to defend. Faction war is simply about swapping systems now.

Exactly,
Iam actually waiting for you amarr to flip more systems so i could plex them back in peace and at least get some decent lp in the process, dont want to lose time doing useless defensive plexes, i will only do it if there is fights to be had. and i know that iam not the only one who thinks this way,
so comeon !! get the lapabi-arayar pocket flipped faster please .

So what happens when we've taken enough systems that your LP is as worthless as ours is? O.o

When that happens I think you'll all get rich and fat and buy a ridiculous number of navy omens and stop bothering to defend plexes in your captured territory (maybe).

I strongly suspect that the warzone will swing back and forth now on 3-4 month intervals as each side does the breakout from siege/reconquest boon and eventually runs out of steam as the pain of defensive plexing dawns. Only way I could see a total wipeout happening would be if one side or the other actually had a decisive advantage in active players (and I mean regular 4-5x the numbers in fleet) for the final stronghold assaults.

The Minmatar conquests pre-patch were amazingly cheeky really - all that territory taken without a decisive advantage in numbers mainly because of the negative morale the forum-whiners were producing.

Still, its currently good times for the bad people and I except Amarr will take a bunch of territory back over the summer while the heroic comrades of the Matari Freedom movement go on holidays and take rest from crazy plexing :)

Again speaking as an outsider its nice to get the opportunity to take smaller stuff out and still get fights, before inferno hit plexes were usually either empty or occupied by a gang that ran at the first sign of pirates. Now as long as we take care to be in smaller stuff people are way less afraid to have a go.

i welcome the chance to hone my smaller ship piloting cos its pretty shite at the moment.

I am actually expect some really silly swings in faction prices a=out of this nonsense as the winning side will convert hteir lp at a high return value, but can not earn as many since they are defending at hrefore not earning LP. They get bored, suffer infighting since some are defending , but many are desperatly trying to whore out the last offensive plexes at max rate. This will cause a massive flip as the losing side conserves its offensive plex LP because bad conversion rates. They gain momentum against the now bored and fractious enemy. The previous losers now get to 3/4 start burning off those stored LPs at good rates = crash in prices = equals falling returns = attempts to get more LP = less defensive plexing = new cycle begining.

So in other words the market traders win as normal, enjoy your fights.

Please go on. I'd love to learn more about the high-end fleet tactics employed by the guys that brought us the CPR Rifter and the ECM Caracal.

Ahem. In all seriousness, there are plenty of complete bads in the Amarr militia. You're just less exposed to them than you are the bads of your enemies. And really, I can't speak to the blobbiness of LNA or Iron Oxide, but I've seen quite a ton of it from Fweddit, Amarr 7th, and Imperial Outlaws. That's because a "Blob" is just a fleet that's bigger than your fleet.

We prefer the term strategic numerical advantage :P

We'll keep flying our T1 thrashers and having fun, you guys keep dropping T2 ships and wiping us out and have fun doing it. We both win!
