Given the number of no-names saying stupid things, I'm pretty sure this vid would be of interest to me, but unfortunately it's unplayable at my PC for some reason. Damn.

This is likely to be the first time I regret of not being able to watch a vid via youtube.

If it wont play with VLC then I suggest trying Media Player Classic, it demands way less resources for playback.

Yeap, I'm trying to come up with another movie, gathering like one proper clip per month or two. So don't disregard Fon as yet Cool
I'm pretty sure I will have it finished by the end of the year, as I think the game's going to evolve quite a bit with the next expansion and having both old and new stuff in the very same vid might become a bit confusing.

Did you try Zoom player? If it doesn't work in VLC, MPC or Zoom then it's most certainly the PC or the file taking issue.

I wish I had the same hope for the winter expansion you do Fon but at least I can look foward to your next vid around that time then eh? Lol

Nice vid.

Only real cool pilots take frigates as first choice, and cudos for Slicer action from gangmember (only the cool of the cool fly that)

I would like to see more frigate in next video please. Perhaps that will push me to undock for the first time this year, but no promisses!!

Alright, I've finally managed to get it watched and I've got to say that I don't really get all those whiners. This was a very good movie - and I unlike some don't have a habbit of calling any movie I come across a "good" one.

It is well produced and well played - and these are 2 key points in any pvp movie.
Some say 'meh, you're a tech3 boosted moron'. Okey. But aren't those guys exactly the ones who often put it the other way around - 'adapt or die'? So, if you die, you're a n00b, and should you 'adapt' and use these very things a solo PvP player has at his disposal, you suddenly become a metagamer/abuser and so on and so forth. How cute.

As I've just said, it's a good movie and many can benefit adopting some of the tricks shown here, thanks to the comments, too.

The first EC- fight (a deimos vs. the crapload of stuff) was particularly great.
As for the rest, I personally woudn't have spent the first 3 minutes of a movie showing 3 overtanked wasters-of-ammo dieing their boring deaths, but other than that I don't have much complaints. Well done.

Btw, those comparing movies to Garmonation 8 and saying they don't stand close seem to be ignoring the simple fact of Garmonation 8 being the best PvP movie ever released. Kinda high bar, huh?

Hmm, generally, I like to write something other than "great video" in a thread, but the small criticisms I can come up with are so nitpicky as to seem ridiculous. Ok, what possessed you to pick the only boring clip of the movie as the opener? Cool

Good movies should always be about taking given setups/ressources/ships to their limits. If those limits are wide thanks to increased ressources, they make for even better watching because lots of stuff explodes, but the key thing is testing the limits, and you fly close to them. Thanks for a really good watch.

Regarding the opener; I think I just wanted to get that clip over with as I too found it the most boring one, but still kinda wanted to include it. Guess my reasoning was to start out with a fight where I am in complete control and then gradually make it more chaotic from there, or something. In hindsight that probably wasn't the best decision :)

I know your reasoning behind including the clip into a movie - as a player in combat, that's just fun to see fugly drakes being unable to hit you due to your sig*speed combo (*cough* 10mn ab Tengu *cough*), but for the viewer's pleasure I for one would have shortened it a bit via cross-fades. At least that's the trick I myself tend to use quite a bit .

I have not been amazed by anything since Podcat's Dishonour and Crucifixion IV, which have a good amount of months now since release.

I should also admit that i'm pretty picky when it comes to "solo movies", since there's this overestimation of them that irks me, while alot of the time you can see straight off that the player should be able to cope with what turns up on grid and just tank it out, even if it may look disadvantageous.

This however was not it, this, was truely outstanding - where positioning and general piloting repeatedly turned fights against the odds. I'm amazed.
