personal assets list shows same, however when do search assets and dont put any name in so it searches all hangers for that alt I can see all the items and select everything, but not able to do anything with them, if I TRY to contract the whole lot over to an alt to bounch back via contracts it defaults to whats in the hanger atm....

I am getting the feeling that none of the Devs work in corporations that use secure audit station hangers within the corp hanger, or have the access to manage those assets.

Desperately needed fixes:

  • Configured Station Containers set to "Unlock" on the client still locks all equipment when dragging and dropping items from your personal hangers. This is a huge FUBAR situation as when you move hundreds or thousands of items, it forces you to unlock EVERYTHING and stack all, then re-lock everything. With the performance increases, this goes by quickly but it COMPLETELY destroys the audit functionality to see who takes what.

  • Double clicking on station containers in the main focus window now opens up your ship cargo. VERY annoying. Double clicking to open activated ship cargo should only happen outside the UI field on an "empty" space.

  • Right click performance when selecting all equipment in station containers in corp hanger space is VERY laggy. In personal hangers it responds quickly to mouse commands. However, in corp hangers Station Containers are a PITA to use. To stack all for example, you have to do it twice in rapid succession...then you get the original menu about 20 seconds later. Another example is after stacking all, if you select all and right click on a module/ship it will deselect everything making you start the select all procedure again.

  • Moving large amounts of items from corp hanger to a Station Container completely lags out the client and reduces FPS to 5fps spiking wildly in the process. When dealing with a lot of items this is a major PITA.

There are other issues with the new inventory UI system that a lot of other players are highlighting, but lets face it, there are few players on average that are tasked with corp security, so I am afraid of this not getting addressed. This has become a serious logistical issue that I wish were highlighted in some way.

I think alot of you are delusional. I find nothing wrong downloading the patch. I also do not get what is wrong with the unified UI, it is great. People like to complain too much, i bet you are same idiots that were responsible for work stopping on Incarna.

Idiots every last one of you. We could have had pew pew on space stations by now.....

let me toggle

index appearance based on location (in space or in station)

isk price evaluation calls (it slows everything down)

filter appearance/disappearance (i don't want to use filters in space: they never pop up, I use filters in station : they appear)

window type positions and conditional preferences, (cargo bay behaves differently then station cans/corp hanger opening cargo never has tree, some other things do)

non permanent can window behavior. I want the window to never have isk calc, tree or cargo hold reversion/next can switching, i want it to close, why is it not possible to make that happen through optional preference selections?

seriously, whats stopping the new Ui from being able to mimic the old Inventory systems behaviors? Im not involved in programming anything more complicated then a VCR, and i haven't done that in years. but whats the hold up on client side behavior filters?

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.
