Eve Store Total Failure

Quick background:
I was a member of CSM 4, which ment I was invited to Fanfest that year which ment I could go and bring the wife. An almost pre requisite on getting such spousal approval.

During the Party at the top of the worldI was a giddily happy recipient of a RXOR Hoodie from Diane of www.evetimecode.com who caught it during the swag tossing from the band. The hoddie has great sentimental value. It was subsequently stolen out of my van later that year which made me very sad. My wife suggested I see if the Eve Store sold it, which it did, and that made me happy.

So I placed the order on November 5, 2011.

I still haven't received it.

I've been promised it via email from store@ccpgames.com 3 times so far. In the last month they haven't replied to any of my emails.

Hey Eve Store. You guys @#$#@ing suck! Where the hell is my order!?

I don't think I have ever heard a happy tale about the physical EvE goods store. If there was a cloud search for the reviews, the biggest words would likely be Expensive, Forever, Never.

I was considering buying a few things from that store, apparently the shipping cost is insanely high though. Put me off buying coz all I really want is one of the key chains Lol

Anyway good luck getting your hoodie, hopefully CCP Phantom will brow beat someone into looking into it for you before he inevitably locks the thread.

The eve store is a huge success, I have 400 pairs of goggles. Oh wait, you meant the OTHER store.

UPDATE:

I just received an email stating that my product has shipped as of April 20, 2012.

So now I'm just waiting to actually have it in hand.

As a fun fact, it's been 168 days since I placed the order till ship date, that's 2 weeks short of 6 months.

UPDATE:

Well my hoodie arrived yesterday. That's 3 days short of 6 months since I ordered it.

And in typical fashion, this morning I received this email:

I am also in EVE Online store limbo. I ordered some stuff a couple of weeks ago and since then have had a shipment pending notice. The official FAQ states:

Orders placed before 9:30 AM EST will be processed the same day and ship out within 48 business hours. Otherwise, your order will be processed the next business day. Orders must be processed before they can ship. Once orders have been processed, NO CHANGES CAN BE MADE (e.g. cancellations, address changes, item changes).


So my question is why has my order not shipped yet? I understand if an item is out of stock, they could reply in an email like most other companies informing that there will be a delay. When I tried to email customer support about the orders status I got this mail back:

Subject: Order Date: 5/25/2012 Order Number: 60382

This message hasn't been delivered yet. Delivery will continue to be attempted.

The server will keep trying to deliver this message for the next 1 days, 19 hours and 54 minutes. You'll be notified if the message can't be delivered by that time.


That was over 2 days ago. I am not in a hurry to get the items, but don't wan't to wait half a year! What is going on with the Eve store? I ordered almost the entire MMM Publishing store (the entire Eon collection, ISK vol.1, Maps) which all arrived very fast from the UK, it is no wonder that they decided to set up shop on their own instead of going through the Eve store.
