The whole point of Eve's SP system is that you don't have to grind to get them.

Or... we could have a Plex lottery organised by CCP! Players can buy tickets with plex and the top prize could be one hundred million skillpoints! And several smaller prizes starting at 1 million SP. It's genius! I mean, what could possibly go wrong?!

This already exists. It's called get out of your mom's basement, get a job, buy some GTC, convert to ISK, go to Character Bazaar, buy as many characters with as many SP as you want. Done.

Lol Having studied your proposal I have concluded a big fat NO. If you don't understand why then go get your 5 years old to pay off the bouncer to get into a nightclub and go play a single player game were the level of grinding you transpire to exists.

Except he did it backwards. Why buy an advanced package to get 15 million sp when you could buy 10 basic packages to get 20 million sp?

Even if this game was receptive to grinding for advancement, his proposal is unbalanced. Given how long it takes to grind 100000 SP, even fairly inefficiently by running lvl 3's in a low skilled Drake, it would be far faster to reach 100 million SP than to hit level cap in WoW. 1 sp per lp is probably close to the correct balance, but I'm not going to bother running numbers when I know full well that proposals like this have zero chance for acceptance.

Sell Some Plex's, or Earn isk in whatever fashion you you prefer and buy a Toon if you are that desperate.

It would be better if you were able to change your name upon char transfer. Just have the character sheet have a tab for former identities, would be a good way to use up plex too.
