We've got the ability to fly Pirate ships. Wouldn't it be sorta sweet if we could use reprogrammed Rogue Drones? They've got some sweet models, that's for sure. Much more fun to look at than the Drones we can use now.

Space. It seems to go on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you.

CCP is planning to improve rogue drones so *maybe* we will actually get something like that eventually.

Interesting . Never have thought about any of this, but have to agree a pirate faction ship in the domi hull would be interesting. Don't even know what to expect from the rogue drone ships though as I don't really know what kind of tanks or weaponry they really run (not much of a mission runner).


To keep the thought going are we thinking just a straight faction ship? OR a pirate ship with multiple races having two distinct bonuses..which would make it difficult as that would require a new skill which does not exist and an entire race lineup of ships.

My vote for Jovian hulls first!!

CCP had the same thought a while ago and created a player ship called Infested Dominix.

It was never released.

I could see rouge drones and drone ships as a roll out for a new faction. And to make it interesting for the drones make them odd bandwith and size ( a 15, 20, 30 in stead of 5, 10, 25). For skills I would go Amarr/Gallente as the Amarr have been using drones forever all over there massive empire and the Gallente have been pushing the limits of drone AI. The hard part would be what the drones do and what the ships bonus, as the Guristas ships are already both Gallente and drone boats it would be odd to make more of the same. as for the drones I don't know if just new sizes would be useful or just a new item for collectors like the augment/integrated are now.

I wanted to paint my space ship red, but I couldn't find enough goats.

I want to see Mothra Alvum, a Drone carrier.

or something.

It would look kinda like a giant knobbly space potato with mechanised tentacles the size of cruisrs, and an evil red glowing fighter docking port at the front. Kinda like the Narada from the Star Trek movie, except not exactly, for copyright purposes.
