I'm in need of a service that I think most people would jump at. I need someone to suicide gank someone's hulk and get their pod as well. Please send me an EVE Mail with pricing / details.

UPDATE

I'm no longer looking for this target to be podded. I'm also not wanting to pay for you to kill him, but instead I'd like to provide you with a FREE service! I can give you consistent, 100% accurate intel on locations and ship fittings for this specific target. I really feel that in the spirit of Hulkageddon now being a permanent fixture , that the perfect way to celebrate is to consistently gank this one individuals Hulk over, and over, and over.

What I'll be doing is putting together a mailing list of anyone and everyone interested in ganking or whatever you want to this specific target. EVE Mails will be sent out as a whole to the entire mailing list, and will contain information such as: Current location, current ship / fitting, and possibly even bookmarks (sent through contracts for free) of optimal warp-in's

If you're interested, please shoot me an EVE Mail. Happy Hulkageddon!

Anyone interested in a bookmark to a Grav site in a 0.6 system? Target is currently mining in a Hulk here and I can provide a warp-in at whatever distance you desire.

While death and destruction are certainly part of EVE game play it is worth reviewing this article.

Players should feel free to emgage in ganks, however, engaging in a concerted campaign on an individual may result in action being taken under grief play. Such actions taken would be at the discretion of Customer Support.

who would be held culpable? those that felt the need to employ people to hunt down this person, or the various people who were employed?

What ever happened to EVE being a place where you could get revenge on your nemesis? By your logic, should I start being afraid every time I kill someone who has already appeared on my killboard several times?

Isn't this what GoonSwarm does to the entire Eve population? I see no difference in their douchebaggery and what you are warning this person about.

Edit: Actually, isn't Hulkageddon, and the now perma-hulkageddon (thanks DoucheSwarm) the exact same thing but focused at griefing an entire demographic of the Eve population?

I hate Hulkageddon, and the general sociopathic behaviour associated with it.
But.....what the OP is asking for MAY NOT be griefing.

Depending on the circumstances, it may be simply hiring someone to drive competition from a location.
In my old corp, we were dec'ed by a merc corp that was hired to drive us from a low sec area, because the people that hired the mercs were concerned our activity would attract pirates, and this industrial corp wanted to keep a low profile.

Plus, given the laissez faire attitude displayed through CCP's recent inactions, I strongly doubt ANYTHING, other than hiring mercs to perma pod someone in a rookie system, would be considered griefing.

A grief player, or "griefer," is a player who devotes much of his time to making others’ lives miserable, in a large part deriving his enjoyment of the game from these activities while he does not profit from it in any way.

^from the article itself ^

so if i profit from it its okay to continually harass the same person... what if my profit is in removing competition from the game
i.e. if i convince this one person to stop playing that kills off one person who is making the same ship as me which allows me to add more isk to how much i can charge for the ship due to a decrease in supply.

So you see CCP your own article allows people to abuse the mechanic and if you ban someone for it you should be ready for an appeal. I could go gank or pay someone to gank anyone who pops their head into a particular asteroid belt... after all those minerals are being mined by myself or my corp, therefore i need to eliminate the competition. and if the same person doesnt learn then why should i be punished because they cant get it through their skull.

Oh, Do go on... no seriously ive got nothing better to do then listen to all the petty arguments and feeble trolling attempts...

The sad thing is i'm not sure if i'm telling the truth.

I know its a joke... I'm waiting for the punchline What?

Only time I hear o a ban was not because of the continued grieing but because the Alliance leader told the aggrieved depressed person to go kill themselves & for his alliance to encourage it Ugh

Technically if people are complaining about Hulkageddon, and saying "why is that not banned as griefing?" then I just lol at them because they obviously haven't read the CCP statement about griefing:

Quote:
A grief player, or "griefer," is a player who devotes much of his time to making others’ lives miserable, in a large part deriving his enjoyment of the game from these activities while he does not profit from it in any way

Because Goons pay people for their involvement in Hulkageddon - even if the participants don't kill enough to get paid, they are still doing it for financial gain so it is completely different to what you're all complaining about :P

So sit down and get back to mining scrub <3

I always laugh at people calling others carebears, how freakin trendy and lame, everyone is a carebear in some form or another,
and the statement above is true, poor miners, and we are all paying the price, once cheap ships are now at elite prices depending on where you are. I do not see anything wrong with the op's post, people may say go do it yourself, but maybe you dont want to and its your right. I find it odd for game dev's to say that, when they could care less if someone follows through for you. Just sayinP

By your logic the OP should be allowed to pay people to grief this person then since they are doing so for financial gain.

Trying to justify why you are a douche doesn't change the fact that you are still a douche.
