My son wishes to return to Eve and has recieved a CCP email stating that he could return to Eve for 30 days for £4.99

"EVE Online: Pound for Pound a great value - £4.99 for 30 Days – Join us"

However when click the link the offer is not visable, instead it is £9.99 for 30 days.

Anyone have details on how to actually apply the offer?

That offer was only valid for the weekend.

"Offer expires June 17th, 2012"

Wish I got an email like that. Came back last week from an 11-month hiatus.

Earlier today, the Dixon Mining Guild and the Butz Manufacturing Corporation formed a coalition.

It's hard to tell if there is a light at the end of the tunnel for the Dixon-Butz Alliance.

I had the same problem. I paid $20 for this account even though there were offers everywhere on the site saying I only had to pay $10. I filed a petition but no responses yet.

I believe you have to make a new account

But does it work if you started with a trial? I had a 21 day trial and when I upgraded it to a real account I had to pay $20 instead of $10.

I wish I had just copied the entire mail, but alas, here is some more of the email:

"Return to EVE online for only £4.99 for your first 30 days and dive back into the virtual universe by which all others are measured. You read that price right, by the way; CCP now accepts Pounds with adjusted pricing exclusively for our UK players."

Probably had to have a paying account that lapsed.

The advert says "BUY EVE THIS WEEKEND FOR 50% OFF!" and that's what I did except it was not 50% off.

Is there not a Dev or someone that knows how to actually use this fantastic offer?

I resubbed with $9.99 instead of the usual $14.99, so I know that it at least works for some people.
I believe that was Friday.

I thought there was an even better deal going on for people who hadn't bought the game yet, but I didn't feel like making a new account.

I'm not sure what's going on, unless you just can't find the appropriate box to tick on the subscription form, which seems unlikely. I'll assume you've already tried poking around the site as much as possible.

Whoops.

I too would like clarification on this issue as I have 2 dormant accounts that I would consider reactivating, but only if I can be certain that it really is £4.99 in total, for each account to be reactivated.

Daveion,

If CCP refuses to answer, contact your credit card company and see what they have to say. There was someone else online here late last week with a similiar issue.

Instead of $14.99, it offered me my first month for $9.99 w/ $5.00 account activation fee. Roll

Just Curious, but does anyone have any idea how long it takes to get a reply from a Dev? an average time frame would be fine.

Right now I have a 15 year old Son sulking while on a school holiday with £5 burning his pocket with a will to spend it on EVE.

His charactor is Buck R***e, has maybe 15m sp's but has been unsubbed for about a year.
