This is a pretty bad change imo

Things you remove from overview are now removed from space as well

I primarily use brackets for dealing with drones, don't have them on overview because I always target them in space, now I can't even see them agro me.

At the very least have an option to turn this behaviour on or off. Having to create a dozen different overview tabs with their own profile just to be aware of what's happening around me is pretty lame

There should be a rather awesome pic here

As far as I can tell there were no changes to brackets in space. In some cases (both overview and brackets set to "Not saved") they will update together, but they should stay separate if the have separate settings to begin with.

Please give a more detailed description (or write a bug report) if anything really changed.

Two overview tabs, each with it's own saved profile:
One has drones, wrecks and other low-priority interactables (beacons, asteroid belts etc), the other has just got player ships

When I switch between these two tabs, it is removing the brackets from space as well as the items on the overview. Eg with ships tab open I cannot see any wrecks or drones at a CA, when I click the other tab they all reappear.

This also applies to things removed from your overview based on the other filters, eg I cannot see any of my fleet members in space. No purple bracket unless I switch fleet members visible through overview settings.

It's definitely different to TQ :)

Sounds like you overlooked something.
Tab1:
Overview: Drones, Wrecks
Brackets: low-priority interactables (beacons, asteroid belts etc)
Tab 2: (ship tab)
Overview: Player ships
Brackets:??

Tab 1 not showing ships seems right.

What?
Lets simplify

Tab 1:
Drones

Tab 2:
Ships

When using Tab 1 I cannot see ship brackets in space.
When using Tab 2 I cannot see drone brackets in space.

On TQ it doesn't matter what tab I choose, I can see ALL brackets all the time.

I'll now log into sisi and try it myself Smile

Alright. Maybe you have "Show All" active on TQ.

If you go in the Overview Settings there is a Tab called Overview Tab. There you have your Overview and Bracket settings.
If I got it right then it works this way:
If you haven't set any setting for the brackets it will use the same setting as your Overview, but show "Show All Brackets" in the Overview settings Tab in the Overview settings
The best way to set it is to make a setting that you like for your overview and save it (e.g travel) and then make a second for all the brackets you want to see and save it (e.g. travel-br)
Then set Overview to "travel" and Brackets to "travel-br" in the overview tab or with right click on the tab itself.
This is the way I use it on TQ.

And it works the same way as on TQ.

huh, I've never clicked that before

Bit confused as to why my SiSi client decided to default to that setting, anyway may as well DT.

When you import Overview settings, EVE turns on Show All Brackets, for every tab. It's a terrible default behaviour.
As is claiming it exports global overview settings, but does not fully store & restore the state w.r.t. using small tabs and tab/background colours & priorities.

Misread topic as Buckets in space.

Meat buckets could be the new name for spaceships.
