I was looking at signing up for some faction warfare but I am a one man indy corp who sometimes pvp but not on a constant basis. I was wondering if there are any other one man indy corps that can give me some hints and or advice when joining FW.

Also if you join FW and you have a POS setup in a .7 sec system will it be more so prone to attacks then if I wasnt enlisted in FW?

My advice, assign your alt as CEO, leave the corp and do Faction Warfare, then drop faction warfare and return to your corp when you want to go back to industry. You have about a day's timer between each switch, but there's no reason to risk your bread and butter for any of the perks that come along with FW.

Good advice I did not know you could leave FW and come back again as many times as you like. FW here I come!

Yeah, you don't really need to commit to the faction war, think of it as more like being a part-time merc for an unspecific and unwinnable war.

If you are doing industry, it's worth considering that your enemy's standings will plummet. If you are intending to go to enemy space (like Jita, which can be kinda important for industry), or mining rocks in enemy space, you may be attacked on sight even after leaving the faction warfare until you grind those standings back up.

It's all about part time datacore mining now. :)
