i had lost hope to see something like that.
it's extremly late, way too late, but, if you prove that you're not lying, i will accept this apology and give you another chance.
i was sure i wouldn't be here anymore in 6 months, now, with this and the (too) little Zulu blog, i'm begining to think that maybe i can go back to check for long term plans.

My excitement about the future of EVE has returned. I now have a genuine hope that EVE will be returned to GREATNESS!!

The last year or so has been a torrid time - EVE losing direction, corpies I flew with for years giving up with frustration and boredom, and going onto other games, well established community characters also moving on...etc, etc.

Thank you, for being humble enough and open enough, to see what the player base has been seeing.

Last, but certainly not least - Thank you for being so openly apologetic...it's never an easy thing for anybody to do.

+1 for the sincerity. While i thought the whining was unnecessary (still do) its amazing to see a company care this much.

I has all the eve inactivity

Words cannot describe my feelings when I was reading over the draft yesterday. I might have shed a manly tear.
Nothing I post here will do Dear Leader or my own feelings on the subject any justice.
But I'm looking forward to the future now.
It is clear that owe Dear Leader a great big hug.
But he somewhat scares me whenever I stand next to him.
Dear Leader is huge and intimidating like that. Blink

Interesting times ahead! Time to live up to Dear Leaders example.

this just shows how important eve has become to some of us, that damn tear... i had it too....

The greatest lesson for me is the realization that EVE belongs to you, and we at CCP are just the hosts of your experience. When we channel our passion for EVE constructively, we can make this vision a reality together.

The major thing to take away from things like these where your business took a hit. Who were to yes men grin *******? Who told you that it was a terrible choice.

You naturally get rid of the grin ******* and put those people who will say you're doing something wrong in the positions of power.

Bravo! It takes a big man to admit mistakes and to do it with such sincerity and humility. You, sir, have just shown your quality.

If you want to keep eve being unique, please make DUST 514 ONLY for eve online players. Do NOT make 2 different communities with realy small connection.
Think what to do with players, cuz it's not smart for me to create another character to play dust. I want to sight on the planet with my own nickname, same as in eve.
And also... integrate dust 514 to eve online client.
