CCP, fix this afk cloaking. I for one am tired with it. You made a game some of us can't play.

Create a POS module which can be installed in a system where you hold the SOV. Module that can be activated and decloak enemy cloaked ships. Every half an hour or one hour, doesn't matter. If they wanna camp, they're free to do it. But they have to be there. Otherwise, using that module, I decloak and kill them. Would give me a chance to do something in return.

Meanwhile, Blizzard wants to thank you cos you made me buy Diablo 3. Click, click, click, kill them monsters ! At least here there's no afk cloak camping.

But they can only gank you if they are there.

No neeed to click, click, click, just hold down the mouse button for the same effect. That's now user-friendly UI works.

I believe you can AFK cloak in some of Blizzards games too.

Really dude, whinning like that is for high sec, if you want to play in null, you gotta accept the bad with the good and learn to adapt to bad situations.


I find ways to make the situation fun for me and less fun for them. 99% of all cloaky campers are simply bluffing, the 1% that results in something like a hotdrop can be dealt with easily, or at least adapted to (which is why I keep cheaper pvp fitted ratting ships close by, just in case).

I don't like the fact that a person can set a toon in a system and cloak forever in an attempt to stop activitey in that system, and I totally believe CCP should give us some tools to actively counter such a thing (I'm still in favor of having a destroyer class ship with something like "spce depth charges" that can scan down a cloaky ships grid, destroyers ARE the IRL submarine killers lol). But until they do, we can simply not give them the satisfaction of any tears.

why don't you go rat somewhere else, you guys have like 10 decent ratting grounds, if the cloaker follows he aint afk AMIRITE?

AFK cloaking would need to be fixed if it was a problem to begin with.

When somone camps my upgrades systems, well that just means time to pull out the scanning/plex tanking ship, put a cloak+MWD plus other "pvp defense" equipment on the dps ship, and go find plexes and/or "natural" anoms in unclaimed systesms, of which there are many. Because of upgraded systems, the "natural anoms" tend to cluster in unclaimed systems, I spent a whole day cleaning an unclaimed system of forlorn and forsaken hubs. Thak you cloaky campers for making me stretch my legs a little lol.

Again, refusing to adapt belongs in high sec, not null.

It's not about ratting or any other thing you do in your system. It's about you can't do nothing against. CCP said that every ship has a counter ship. Every tactic has a counter tactic. Counter afk cloaking !
