NPC null sec region nice for ratting/exploration but also for small gang PvP

Hi,

I read something about NPC null sec. It sounds interesting for small gang PvP. But I'm also interested in options to earn some nice ISK. It's null sec after all. So belt ratting and exploration. Maybe missions. That's why my post here.

Most of the time I read about Syndicate. Very nice for PvP but bad in terms of ratting. What are other good NPC null sec regions with better bounties? Curse can be very blobby I hear, since it's on a main pipe into sov null sec. Venal seems interesting because of Guristas...I guess that means good bounties. But checking it on dotlan it seems very quiet there...too quiet if I'm interested in constant PvP as well? Also only very few stations in that region.

Any hint what region could offer a good mix of both, PvE + small gang PvP opportunities? Gurista or Serpentis space would be optimal but not necessary.

You should come to Fountain. We have a nice NPC pocket which is surrounded by Sov space owned by TEST Alliance. The benefit of the NPC space is that there are Serpentis and Angel missions which you can get extremely rich off. Most people base themselves out of the Serpentis Prime and WY- systems. There is constant pvp in both NPC space and in TEST sov space. If you are going down solo, make friends with the local NPC dwellers, or if you are going down with a corp, come fight TEST when you get bored.

NPC fountain has both angel and serpentis missions, and plenty of pvp. Exploration wise Core and shadow serpentis is some of the worst around for a lot of things.

If you are mainly looking at exploration I would lean more towards GW, Curse or Stain. Gist modules tend to sell well, Domination tends to be kinda meh. Centus and True Sansha stuff tend to fetch very high prices.

If you can handle the ******* jamming guristas venal might be good too. Both Pith and DG stuff sells well.

The Great Wildlands are also a great area to explore and do small gang pvp. Angels rats, but very few stations.
