has a Mutual War any restrictions for Corps to join/leave?

If two alliances are in a MUTUAL war. Can a single Corp join and (more important) leave at any time?
we are NOT talking about the new merc feature!

From what I read, the restriction is placed in the joining part so there is a long'ish wait when wanting to join an alliance/corp at war.

Then again, it is CCP we are talking about, so they probably only allow individual shedding of members (corp level) and completely forgot about the alliances and thus made it a cul-de-sac .. notes only addresses corp level drops Smile

no corp involved in a mutual war can leave until either the aggressor or defender surrenders
but CCP has said they are prob going to make a time limit for allies

i have read that too, but only about the merc feature. does it apply to a "regular" alliance joining/leaving?

That seems to imply that the corp will enter the mutual war when joining the alliance
and take the mutual war with them when they leave. Maybe as a new war? idk

It is a very good question I haven't seen this yet because there are not alot of mutual wars happening
between alliances.. we need a dev or someone that has tried it to reply
