Eve causing computer to seize up except for mouse cursor.

Over the past two days everytime I play EVE the game will freeze up at random times. When it does I am still able to use my mouse but I cannot ctrl+alt+del or tab out of the game, at which time I am forced to do a hard reset. Has anyone else had this issue? I am ready to pull my hair out, my drivers are up to date and everything.

I too have this problem, but only difference is that I'm not playing EVE when it happens Lol

Push Industries - Don't move it, Push It Serving highsec, lowsec and nullsec - and we do it faster and more reliably than anyone else. Ingame channel: PUSHX

Well it's still happening and my rig also froze once while I was tabbed out of the game, so maybe it's not Eve after all. I did a virus scan as well as cleaned up my computer to the point that all I have on it now is Eve, some music and movies, nothing else. It's still freezing. I have little choice but to reformat which im currently doing now. If it still happens after that my guess is the problem is hardware related.

This is so wierd though I have a high end system and im usually really good with keeping my computer clean and healthy. The only changes ive made to my computer was I installed Teamspeak and I switched monitors, but neither of those things should have caused me any issues.
