don't care so much about the tank as the yield... what are you getting with this per cycle.

  - remove the cloaked from local; free intel is the real problem, not  "afk" cloaking -

yeah .. a max-buffered hulk is 1614m3/minute w/ drones [All V char] and requires a +2% or better cpu implant has 30k EHP give or take

that rokh has 69k ehp

tbh checking your fit on eft it tells exactly the opposite. Simming with All V char, there's no way to fit the 4th MLU on your rokh. Said that, and leaving drones out, your rokh's yeld (including the misterious 4th MLU) is 3700.8 per cycle (3398.4 without the 4th MLU), while on a Hulk it is 4638.6. Also, range of the mining rokh should be 10Km, compared to the 15Km of the hulk. Not to mention any eventual boosting, cause boosting works on percentage, so the higher is the base yeld to be boosted, the more is the boost amount itself.

In conclusion, not a thing for miners imho ;)

Or maby you can not be stupid and join a indy corp where they dont require you to go on ctas or roams or do pvp. But hey if you want to be ignorant and join a pvp corp then mine be my guest.

Two small downside to this fit:

You're burning through crystals at a significantly faster rate (8 vs 3)
It has a tiny cargo hold

But as only idiots AFK mine, the second isn't too important (as long as you have a hauler/orca available)

yeah.. since i don't afk mine on my mining alt and i stay to the outer reaches i have never seen a suicide gank attempt

[and don't bother locator agenting me goons, i am not undocking my miner and mining with her in the same system as my main :P]

These fits is for you to be able to mine while completely ignoring local, d-scan, etc Safely. To mine Safely in a Hulk or Covetor in the current environment takes somewhat more effort.

rokh miner without a dcu II is failfit, if you arent going to fully tank it then use a barge with max yield and your eyes on d-scan 150,000,000 km scanning every few seconds

gankers most likely arent going to waste a Tornado on a barge when they think you can be dropped with a dessie, and you will see them on d-scan if you are watching and mining aligned @ 75% speed

Drone lands, kavelea expanse sout west gem. All are empty. Seen posses where pilots sit with 4 hulks grinding ore and 4 machs out doing annoms. Just pos up into pos when some one enters system. Put some guns and resists on pos. If it gets reiner forced put another one up on next moon. Woot woot small pos 200mill max that is 1/4hrs work.
