Hulkageddon V Announced! Sponsored by the Mittani!

Details in the link below:

http://hulkageddon5.machine9.net/?cat=3

I think it's safe to assume that this will be the biggest Hulkageddon ever! Miners beware, the gankers are coming.

Will the new T3s increase or decrease isk efficiency?

Will the "no throwaway alts" rule come into play?

Will Hulkgadeeon V no longer be known as a Helicity Boson event, but rather one exlusively belonging to the goons?

How will the new bounty on every exhumer play out?

Do people really still mine in this game?

Given the raping of the Drone resource market, will people actually try to mine anyways?

We shall see! In the mean time, tell us what you think below!

I think at this point we can only speculate, but I assume this will be the most successful ever!

Well, in order to keep down on some of the tear floods that come our way, some tips for surviving the coming Hulkageddon V
Treat high sec as mostly-like-nullsec and you should be fine.

  • Don't AFK mine. That's just asking for trouble.

  • Stay Aligned! Pick a planet or station, stay aligned, drop speed to half. If you're in an appropriate (low pop) system, anytime someone hops into local that you don't know, warp off! If you want to be a bit riskier, you can wait until they hop on grid.

  • Keep local open in a separate window. Watch it. Use condensed member list.

  • You should really be watching D-Scan. Keep spamming that button.

  • TANK YOUR DAMN HULK. Your efficiency will take a hit, but it's better to get 10-20% less minerals than to lose a 200-300 mil hulk (plus fittings). Reinforced bulkheads and a DC2 are pretty beast.

  • Mine in mission sites or grav sites. Its not going to be safe, but it will be saf*er*

  • Remember, you don't have to be invulnerable, you just have to be harder to kill than the other miners.

1) This is quite ancient news, actually threads about this are settling down...

2) I read the blog, it's really good looking. But it begs me one one question. Why, why all those who write this type of blog have to fill them with verbal abuse, absurd self accomplishment and generally disclose to be complete f*ckwads? Is it hormonal?

This leads immediately to think that in RL that guy is the exacerbated and impotent heavy glasses, 4 feet tall fat guy whose school mates relegate in a corner.

Can you imagine the tears when they realise it's on for a whole month, what would be really funny would be if Mittens announced it was going to be indefinite just as this ended, the tears would sink a battleship.

here's the fun part.

Hulkageddon 5 ran for a month. Starting May 1st.

So it's over.

What's not over is the payouts for Hulk and Mack kills. 10 kills nets you 100 million, if you are set up with their api based killboard.

As far as I'm aware, it's just Hulks and Macks that count now. (Fun tip. These ships require a ton of Tech to create. Guess who's put together a cartel to sell tech? Blink )

Woo! CSM XI!
