How hard can it be to run a batch job to splice two vids together x100? Seriously, this is the 21st Century and it's just video, there's plenty of FOSS and proprietary software out there that'll manage it.

They will be streaming previous alliance tournaments every weekend until this years tournament starts. AT6 will be shown this weekend starting in 2 hours(12.00 UTC). Here is the link where you can find the stream.

You can only blame CCP for that. They are either part of the archived footage or CCP is starting ads in between every fight.

I don't have a problem with covering the costs of streaming it with adverts,

Problem is it's generally exactly the same advert, which is around twice the volume of the feed.


Side thought, Watching these re-runs reminds me how long and drawn out the end of some matches can be... any chance of time dilation being forcibly invoked up to around 5000% speed for a match that is taking too long instead of just ending it abruptly after a timer?

I'll look into that, the system doesn't actually have any ads localized for Iceland so I wasn't aware of that issue, thanks for letting me know!

That would requre some one to watch all of them again. Start a list and maybe when they get edited to youtube some of those kind of edits can be done.

Wow, nice stream... But I can't watch it right now - exam tomorrow. Will watch the vods though.
What about the VODS? Can you download them afterwards? If not, is it possible to make them downloadable or something? I just don't want to lose them ever again
