Does EVE voice currently work for anyone running EVE through Wine on Linux?

I'm a new player so I don't know if I'm not doing something right or it just doesn't work, I have EVE running with Wine 1.5.5 on Arch Linux. Sound works fine and I can hear ingame audio and effects perfectly. I have EVE voice enabled via the settings and the relevant devices set up and a PTT key. When I press the PTT key, the sound stops as I have it configured to do so I know that is working properly. My problem is that when I right click on a channel tab, I don't get the option to Join Audio. It's not there.

Anyone know if I'm doing something wrong?

It seems to have broken the past couple of patches. I read that some Mac users and windows users were having the same problem though. You'll have to stick with teamspeak assuming your corp uses it.

Doesn't seem to work. Eve Voice is at best very slow, laggy and all around clumsy as well so getting Mumble (open source) or TeamSpeak (native linux support but not open) would be a good idea even if you manage to get sound working properly.

I've started using Mumble as that's what my corp uses, be nice to have EVE voice working but I can live without it.
