I believe so, if it were a complete break, its human nature.

But it's not a complete break, not a real one, anyway. It'd be like saying because one fleet is full it'd never be able to fully co-operate with the second one that formed immediately afterwards because it's ~different~. The only thing that'd truly be different is the ticker name.

There are many examples of what happens when a group breaks, either voluntarily or forced, which reinforce my premis. Its just basic sociology.

And yet I literally told you what happened when our group "broke" in the past when mechanics forced it to happen: nothing, aside from nuisances with things like corp hangars etc. This time will be different though, I'm sure!

A corp being forced to split while still being in the same alliance is not the same. We disagree, time for both of us to move onto something else.

There was no alliance at the time, just the corp. The split was the exact same thing that would happen now. Of course though, let's stop talking about Real Things That Happened since they keep making you wrong though.

Nah people would just go back to the way it was before there was in in-game alliance mechanic. Back in the days of Curse, Xetic, etc there was nothing in the game mechanics to help people work together, we all just threw our alliance tag in the bio and set a lot of corp standings.

If people want to work together they will with or without in game mechanics.

If you have 100B in the bank you don't mine. (Unless you are a botter ofc.)

Please see my signature, it describes you. Also, you need to learn the meaning of the word contradiction. And as for miners not having hundreds of billions of ISK, perhaps you should talk to Chribba.

Chribba didn't make all his money just from mining. He also runs a 3rd party transfer service for Super Carriers and Titans, which involves a nice fee.

Normally the high-sec game mechanics work pretty good. CCP has allowed Goonswarm to circumvent these game mechanics. Yes I know this is a sandbox but if someone is circumventing the game mechanics, its an exploit. Im not going to plead proverty. I have enouph ISK to play my three accounts for several more years. Why should I if game mechanics allow 7 players with a security rating less than -8 to play in high-sec with emmunity. When CCP has returned hi-sec to more reasonable game play I will return.

I think all high-sec players should think about taking a vacation from EVE. The only thing CCP cares about is monitary loss. This is the only way high-sec players can get thier attention.

Pirates that want my stuff can meet me in Jita at 1930 hours on Saturday.

SO....

There's 8 folks in a hi sec system with -8 or worse sec status, and you think it's ok to undock in your expensive t2 mining ship and go about business as usual?

Really?

Hmm...

So, I've got some beachfront property in Nevada that I'm looking to sell cheap!

Don't worry CCP.

Even though the inventory sucks and wardecs even less useful than before.....
You will still have my accounts because we are still allowed to blow up Hulks and Mackinaws in highsec at a reasonable cost.
Its probably the only thing keeping me in the game at this point, but its enough to keep my burning up those PLEXes that you' sold to the all the ISK-poor scrubs out there.

Maybe you shouldn't mine in a system with 7 guys with -8 sec status.

Where are you going for vacation? I suggest Yosemite.

Couldve been drones that would have been out, or one volley of missiles. Still weird as hell though (and also not API verified)

Oh, you're probably on to something with the single volley of missiles, that's all I would expect to get off before getting concorded too.

if ccp is smart they should have a customer portfolio with the make up, amount and general player profiles. it should tell them that the long term players (the ones that drives the sandbox (o.o dwellers)) are 0.0 players and that high sec character amounts are mosty alts of 0.0 players.... in short: high sec players pnly play a fraction of the time 0.0 players are playing.... 0.0 players make this game... why should ccp continue to listen to these players that quit anyway in a few months? expecialy afyrr the big player decrease when there was a cataclism of canceled subscriptiond due this 5months ago?

quit whining, go do social like eve is desighned and join a 0.0 mining corp or whine that ccp isnt promoting eve more as a social game where it actualy is a social unwritten rule that players should join a player driven corp...

just a quick brainfart

That statement is an out right bold faced lie and is probably the biggest Myth constantly being propagated on these forums.

The only correct and true sentence in that statement - that person having a brain fart.

As difficult as some folk may find it to believe, corp mining can be a good way to pass some time, being sociable and working as a team etc.

There are an awful lot more people messing about in low sec and wormholes than null sec.

EVE is not designed around players joining null sec mining corporations.

Low sec and WH combined make up only 13% of the pop. Null is 20%.

That's unfortunate.

However, don't be so quick to get rid of your stuff. Take a month off. A break can put things into perspective. You may find your enthusiasm for the game returns.
