CCP is a lot like the lord.

They help those who help them selves.

Just use a covetor till this blows over or tank a hulk to hell and back and don't go AFK undocked.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

What's funny is that he's equating EVE to SWG, when what killed SWG is Sony Online Entertainment and John Smedley.

You know, the guy who recently tweeted that he's now in the CFC and the group whom has been getting closer and closer to EVE in what looks very much like a buyout situation.

People you perceive as carebears exist in 0.0 alliances too, in fact, even the most hardcore groups can be considered carebears.

CCP cares about all its players. Companies would rather be making cash instead of making no cash.

The way it works with goon alts is complicated, but I think I've figured it out.

When we post on our mains, we're scamming, just as we scam in game. Now, when someone posts complaining about being scammed, its just a goon alt, because everyone knows goons can't scam successfully.

Now, when its time to whine to ccp about banning goons, they are of course all master scammers, as is evidenced by the threads complaining about goon scamming, that is, the very same threads that are simply goon alts created to gain attention, because goons can't scam.

Correct me, anyone, if I'm wrong.

If you paid isk to get into GoonSwarm, you were probably scammed.  If you had the foresight to save the name of your scammer, let me know and I'll do what I can to help you.

Goonswarm is bot moon mining, bot ice mining and bot ore mining. They have enouph protection to be emune from Hulkageddon so they decided to get rid of the high sec competition. CCP you need to take a hard stance against Goonswarm to save EVE and your jobs. I know this is a sandbox, but if the the sandbox fills up with **** you need to throw it out and get new sand.

How does one bot moon mine? You put up a tower, you defend it with real people, real people pull the minerals from it and sell it on the market.
For the other two, if you have any evidence of it I suggest you submit it to CCP with all the details you can gather. Names, places, times, behaviors, everything.

Goonswarm what are you going to to do when only pirates are playing and the player base is so low EVE dies a slow death like Star Wars. The only reason you are so big is because of high sec and the carebears. Carebears give you and other pirates something to fight against. When carebears are gone who are you going to fight then? I think your going to be playing with yourself!!

Carebears will never leave eve, and it isn't our goal, despite what you may have heard, to drive them away.

Drax Dremal wrote:
Goonswarm do you think EVE cant die? I played in Starwars from its start until it died. At its high point it was way more popular than EVE will ever be. We thought it could never die. Another game designer is going see that EVE is weak and create another similar game. When it does carebears and your pirate members are going to leave EVE in droves. When it does CCP and Goonswarm are going to be crying!

The only way that eve will die is if the concept of player-driven gameplay dies. Basically if the average high-sec forum warrior gets their way.

Like they did with incursions?

The sand box gets smaller with each patch. 9 years ago you really could do anything you wanted . Now it takes one hell of a bank roll and 100 million skill points to avoid the crap you dont want to do.

You can be in a tackle frigate stopping a deadnought from escaping within 30 minutes of starting the game.

What is it you can't do today, which you could do 9 years ago?

CCP cares about players that want to play EvE Online. CCP doesn't care about players that want to play WoW in space.

Eve, where the PvP is 25% better.

The more I read your post, the more I think about another...

This. CCP are those hippie parents that you hear about, raising children (players) that do pretty much whatever they want to do, because "they are expressing themselves". CCP would be hard pressed to do anything about their kids, even when the kids start burning the carpet and are mixing bleach with ammonia in the toilet. Quite literally, the house (Eve) could be on fire and CCP would pat itself on the back for raising it's children in such an open manner, allowing them freedom to do as they please, never realizing that the kids have no regard for each other, or the house that they live and play in. Because it's a sandbox, you get it?

Personally, it's their game, they can nurture it or kill it however they please. The sandbox part is cool and all, but at some point, they will have to make a hard choice, and that hard choice will result in a lot of children getting angry and breaking their toys and threatening to run away from home if they don't get what they want. Cause those kids...they don't care about anyone but themselves. Their way or the highway. All that cliched crap that you hear about when it comes to this game. It's not about making the game better, it's about them milking it dry.

In other words...the sandbox is a fallacy.

They somehow managed to get every freak and creep in the universe in this one game, and then somehow managed to let them take it over, and then they somehow managed to stick us right smack in the middle.

Disregard That

I can confirm that you are 100% in error.

The sandbox is alive and well. In fact, it's so effective that 75% of players don't seem to realize that when they undock it's all-in for PVP. All the time.

That survey speaks volumes. Just not the ones you seem to think it does.
