So CCP please can you explain why the whole game is pretty much control by one alliance - Goonswarm?
Anything Mittani gets upset about he sends his bees out to pretty much lay havoc on anything and everything which then effects everyone in eve in every way.

Examples

Jita
Ice Mining
Tech prices.
Indefinate hulkageddon

When does it stop?
As the game become so saturated that one alliance has the ability to control eve. I mean well done Mittani you now litterally control eve. But CCP really is this the vision of Eve? Because Ill say it again, eve is no longer sandbox when your sandbox is determined by someone elses sandbox.
This isnt a pop at Goons or Mittani as such they have achieved the end game but there is something seriously wrong when an online game gets to this point and one person/alliance can have such a dramatic effect on everyone in eve...
Once alliance should not be able to grow to over 8000 players, one alliance goons or otherwise shouldnr be able to control everything in eve, one alliance goons or otherwise shouldnt be allowed to own 150 high end moons!
Eve has become so saturated that quite frankly no one can compete anymore, no one has the same chances, the one universe platform is no longer viable. Jeez CCP wake up, or there will be no one playing the game!

agreed

Hey it's not like we're going to do something dumb like forgetting to pay all our sov bills.

You're goons...of course you're going to do something dumb.

The only things goonswarm controls with iron fist is the ammount of crap in forums. And you with this thread contributed a lot on this effort. Congratulations.

That because most people do not suffer more influence from goons than from any other large group of players.

let me be more clear.. STOP WHINING DAMM KIDS! They are not makign impossible for you to play.. they are making impossible to play ignoring the fact that there are other 50K people loged in at same time! NOTHIGN wrong on that!

Whatever happens, we need something new, original and hilarious. Selling an account with roles to the enemy is old news. Forgetting to pay sov bills is old too. Think outside the box people!

So close...

Posting on an NPC account implies that you either are unwilling to admit who your main is for fear of reprisal, for the context it will bring to your statements, or occasionally that you're a straw man created for spouting indefensible arguments to make a viewpoint look bad. It's either that, or that you're unwilling to join a player corporation (or create one) because you don't want to engage in the warded system, the taxes system, or openly declaring any political allegiance.

It's obviously your choice to post from a character in an NPC corp. It implies that you're either trying to hide your bias, you don't like engaging with other players in EVE's mechanics, or that you feel repression in a video game which has no real life consequences you don't allow it to deeply effects you. The option is still yours anywhere but CAOD.

To address the OP's point in as succinct a manner as I can, do something about it. The tools are all there in EVE to organize yourself a power base and create your own content in the sandbox. GSF is far from the only organization to do anything with major impact, we've just had a particularly good string lately.

Er... you do understand the fact that it is technically possible to achieve a fairly wide degree of galactic domination is a major marketing point for Eve, right?

How ******* lame would it be if they said, "Yeah, you can organize a huge alliance and amass vast power but uh... if you get too big, or actually use that power, we're going to have to put you down, so there isn't really much point in exerting the effort in the first place. Just shoot some spacerocks while AFK 23/7 forever."

Why don't YOU stop allowing the goons to control the game?

CCP didn't give them the power they have. They went and took it. Sack up and take it back if it's causing you such consternation.

Good point. Goons may be sometimes examples of what not be followed (like posting :P ) but they have thigns that make them prime examples to be aspired upon. One of them is their tenacity of not simply whining and rolling over when BOB struck them first time, they learned, licked their wounds, prepared and eventually payed back.. tenfold. Miners, if you want respect, do the same. Find your way, make suggestions for improvement, but do not just sit and cry like babies.

How many times has it been shown that a very large amount of eve players live in npc corps?

There are vast areas of eve that go untouched by the influence of the goons or the cfc.

You are only controlled by those whom you let control you. If you are a weak minded individual

You shouldn't but your opinion doesn't matter as long as you hide behind a npc alt

Well anyone who thinks my opinion doesn't matter because of some corp tag under an avatar doesn't really matter to me anyway. I don't have to prove anything to anyone here.

While I agree that CCP seems to give an inordinate amount of weight to the desires of the Goons, to say that they control the game is way overstating the case. Despite his own delusions, Mittani and his fan boys don't control the game, however much they may want you to believe it.

You are being over-dramatic. The fact is, Goons aren't the only ones waging this war against the highsec miners. People across all EVE are doing it. In fact, I would say the anti-miner effort is probably the most broad-based, diverse coalition of players in EVE's history.
