Eve mottos: Adapt or die, Eve is hard, HTFU

These are the first things you read when joining eve and it seems they have been ignored of late, just reminding some people here.

When I joined I didnt read: Eve is fair, Highsec is safe, WOTF ([joke] whine on the fourms [/joke]) .

There are ways round hulkageddon and other avenues to take in this sandbox, but there seems to be a number of players who think they are above eve and feel so entitled that CCP should adapt the game to THEM rather than the other way round.

So please if you are one of these people, just quit and give me your stuff, nobody reads amazing story's about the multi-boxing macro/afk miner and decide to join eve, they read about the BOB/Goon war, they look at R&K videos, read wormhole storys, the great scam etc.

Its no lie when people say you wont be missed.

Isn't this true for any game? They all have rules that you have to follow and if you want to play differently...you can't.

Best part about EVE is most of these rules are player-created, so you know they're made by jerks. On the flip side, player-made rules are not as binding as official ones, so the freedom is still there - it's just repressed. Do something about it? Well, only if you can scrounge up the effort/friends.

Precisely. Which makes Eve the fairest game of all. Anyone can play the way they want to...as long as they're able to protect their playstyle :)

Once again, folks like you fail to realize that "HTFU and "adapt or die" and all that cuts both ways.

Let me give you an example:

Bob: "High sec should be safe!"
Tim: "No. HTFU. Adapt or die! GTFO!"

This is how you see it.

And here's a flipside of that same coin.

Bob: "High sec should be safe!"
Tim: "No."
Bob: "HTFU. Adapt or die! GTFO!"

See how that works? Uhhuh...

Except the guys PAY for the service, and they feel the right to be vocal if they don't like it. Plus, they are dead means less money for the CCP. Which, eventually, isn't good for you personally either.

Only animals adapt to environment, whereas humans strive to adapt the environment to themselves by any means.

An interesting take on things, perhaps then all this forum whining is just another aspect of eve warfare, I like the thought but I doubt it to be honest.

And in both cases Eve gives you the most freedom compared to any other game. So what's the problem?
