Play because of awesome CCP Devs:
CCP Guard
CCP Punkturis
CCP Tallest
CCP Fallout
CCP Pann
(need I go on?)

... and I still haven't podded CCP Soundwave Twisted

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Because:

A) I don't have to grind. EVE doesn't demand I play it like a part time job.

B) I get to build spaceships that I use to blow up other spaceships. Thus EVE is the virtual crystalization of every dream I ever had when I was 6 years old.

I don't have time to play because it requires too much dedication for my little free time :(

The reasons to play have become less than those to keep on playing.

I love to watch how the Darwin Theroy becomes reality.
Steady evolution in a World full of Darma. Some can`t adept and die, the survivors are stronger then before.

and last but not least
"Because I can !" Blink

Greetz to all pilots out there and thx to CCP for this piece of Software.

It's a decent enough game, and when I find myself getting bored doing one thing I can just do something else.

In 40 days, I've done:

-missioner ~3 weeks (burned out on that)
-ninja salvager/looter ~10 days (burned out on that)
-station trader ~10 days

Now I'm experimenting with starting up an insurance gig, and if it takes off I can do that alongside whatever else.

If I get bored with station trading, I can go do ratting/tackling out in null-sec for a few days. Or probe down wormholes or whatever is out in null-sec using the l33t probing skills I learned while scanning down mission sites to ninja.

Not my fault you decided on a character portrait that looks like it would break down and cry if I did!

Personally I like the immersion factor but mostly I like the game for the political intrigue and Meta gaming.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!
