Hidden Belts

I'm a little unclear as to where hidden belts spawn. Do they only spawn in sov held 0.0 space when it's upgraded, or do they also randomly spawn in other systems? Because I can never seem to find any.

I understand they spawn throughout new eden, in all security zones inclusive of hi sec.

Gravimetric sites can spawn anywhere in EVE, highsec, lowsec, sov null, NPC null, WH space, starter systems, anywhere.

Ironically, everyone else complains about finding too many of them :B

Well that's kinda why I was confused, I thought that I might be scanning wrong or using the wrong probes. The NPC null where I live never has grav sites when I do a scan. In fact, there never seems to be any sites at all except wormholes.

Grav sites are relatively rare. In my limited experience, this is what I've found, starting with the most common:

Wormholes
Various combat sites (DED x/10, etc)
Magnetometric
RADAR
Gravimetric
LADAR

Grav sites SEEM to be among the least common in my experience. Suits me fine, I hate the things.

Maybe OP should check the filter settings in the Scaner UI if he's not finding any Grav sites.

Anyway, my experience shows it's a bit different.

Wormhole
Combat
Gravimetric
Magnetometric
Radar
Ladar

Maybe it's due to area / location. My results are mainly from high sec.

You'll need some probes.

If I was in your shoes I would get some of my corporation/alliance together and offer a payout (finder fee) to anyone who can provide me bookmarks to grav. sites within the region I roam.

Experienced exploration pilots would love to get some extra isk for gravimetric site bookmarks they have no use for otherwise.

Not so sure how well that will work out. I have only been looking for 2 weeks for explorations sites.
So far I have found 3 grav sites. Every one was cleaned out except for just one small roid just to keep it active.

I think it's just murphy's law tbh... if I'm looking for Grav sites, I find WH, if I decide to check out a WH, I find... well, everything else. Anyway, you get the idea.

I'm not in high-sec though and there are barely any miners living out here.

They leave that 1 small rock thinking the site will regrow like how asteroid belts do. Obviously those sites don't regrow. The only way to get another full site is to pop it and hope another grav site re-spawns nearby.

Sister's Core probes,Sister's Probe Launcher and the appropriate rigs and even a T1 scanning frig can find at least 1 grav site within 4 systems provided they are not all mined up buy then. 7 Probes also help.
