Ganking And KILL RIGHTS

Clearly you arent a regular miner - most gankers are -10 sec, all they do is grab a destroyer from station or an orca, warp in to their scout alt, gank some miner, then warp the pod back to station. Repeat every 15 mins.

How exactly is someone going to gank him back in a nice expensive ship to get even?

last i checked iam now a 3.5 sec standing.

I suggest you try checking the leader board of Hulkageddon V. The dedicated gankers who are the real problem for miners are all -10.

Oh, but you do get kill rights if you're ganked.
At least in lowsec, and if you don't aggress back.

Oh, hey, that reminds me. I have kill rights on the guy who popped my industrial a while back. I should go make use of that.

easy fix dont mine with 5-6 jumps of a low sec exit.

The dedicated gankers dont live in low sec so that is an irrelevence.

They dock up in the system where the miners are and emerge in there catalysts and thrashers only to gank.

The kill rights are an irrelevence because you can always shoot them as they are -10, they just arent ever flying anything worth blowing up to get even later on which was the point of your OP.

At best you can pod them and make them buy a new inexpensive clone.

Will you please be so kind to tell me how i should do that:

Getting ganked in a hulk, ok so.
My Arazu might be 3 jumps away, so i go to pick it up.
Coming back to ganking site, check if my friend is still in local.
Checking belts or probing.

Finding my friend blowing his catalyst up with my Arazu.
Getting concorded, as 15 min timer is over by 30 mins.

My loss: 1 hulk, 1 arazu
His loss: 2 catalysts

Any thoughts?

1 use a loaction agent to get the location of your target.
2 bring help
3 enjoy catching him off guard for the fact no ever really claims there kill rights you will catch him off guard.
4 kill rights are good for 30 days plain your attack just like he did be smart about think before you act or you will not catch him of guard.

yeah, go out and kill him in his destroyer! that'll teach him to mess with you!

or he'll laugh at you for wasting time tracking him down in order to kill a destroyer.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

IMO you should get kill rights for being ganked in hisec even if you shoot back. I don't really understand the current logic as far as that goes. I also like the many proposed changes to the bounty system/transferable kill rights.

Also, it should be legal to pod people who are -10 (maybe set the threshold at below -7.5 or something).

And no, I'm not a carebear, and have participated a little bit in Hulkageddon V.

i also belive you do get kill rights if your attacked first in high sec and lose your ship even if you fire back not sure on that.

That's not even remotely true. The vast majority of the ganks that happen are random people who feel like killing a miner. -10 alts with a character ejecting ships from an orca for them are uncommon.

Declaring all gankers to be -10 throwaway alts is a convenient excuse for people to do nothing and then whine on the forums that nothing was done.

first off Arazu bad pick of that all you got for combat ship a rifter if it catchs it could kill one. there armor is to thin and bad little in weapons.

So ya you might lose a Arazu.

But do you really read my replys take your time in killing the sob you have 30 days.

Jackles hunt in packs. Most miners I know are solo players. Feeding the jackles with foolish retaliatory attempts seems pretty pointless and it's like giveing them what they want isn't it?
