Every day or every other day I come onto GD and see threads in a random order.

DEMAND.
WHINE.
DEMAND AND WHINE.
POLL
TROLLOLOLOL

So I would like to start this thread in the name of the following. I like Eve. It's interesting most of the time. No one has been able to ruin it for me. CCP's inventory is ok for now, bearable (and yes, I frequently use a POS). Goonswarm will be Goonswarm, in reality I don't really care what they do. There are some things that can be improved, but Eve is still ok as it is now for the most part.

Reply if you have an opinion. The subject says what I think about it.

People always come onto the forums and think to themselves, because they pay they can actually suggest something that they want, such as nerfing gankers, or getting rid of moon goo and such.
Eve is a ruthless game, it's true. But the ruthlessness is what gives the game its uniqueness instead of a game like World of warcraft, If you die in there, you don't even lose your stuff. You just go off and repair. But in eve, when you're flying about in a multi-three digit million ship and it gets blown up from a two digit million ship. It makes it all the better.
That is why I love eve. If people cannot take what the game for what it is. There's the door.

Edit: Oh yes I forgot to mention, while flying I always carry a water tower to hold people's tears. :D

Edit: Although I'm a Miner with an alt score of 8 (one Orca and 7 other hulk pilots) whenever there is a ganker in system, I just turn on my invuls, loose my drones. Target the poor bugger and sic 45 hobgoblin IIs on him. Twisted

But seriously wtf is with all the QQ? im a CNR flying carebear that quit 2 years ago due to RL stuff, and only resubbed recently because they made missles sexier.. seriously i paid 30 bucks to activate 2 accounts (gotta salv those sexy wrecks) just so i can run missions with a little bit sexier graphics.

and theres talks of tenguaggedon? so ******* what, thats the nature of the game, thats what eve is about, i would cry tears of rage if my missioner got exploded but thats what i paid for, a chaoitc universe that effing hates me, thats why this game is fun.

Only been playing a short time, but already sick and tired of the whining and moaning on the forums.
These things are not uncommon in any game forum but it is the percentage of 'whine' threads to 'real' threads that does my head in.

I suppose that is why they say that only 2% of the eve players use this forum regularly....

I left 9 months ago thinking I would never return, that EVE had gotten too boring. After seeing the usual EVE adverts on a sci-fi website recently I decided to check out the forums. There I found a high volume of hate aimed at the Goons, and that's when I realised EVE was starting to become unsafe and unstable again. So I did the only sensible thing, I came back.

Having fun in the game, the Goons are kicking sand in people's faces as they have done for years now, which just makes things more interesting. I joined the game for the very reasons a lot are crying right now, it doesn't hold your hand or wrap you in cotton wool, your safety, or lack of it, is your own responsibility. There aren't many games out there like that and I enjoy EVE because of that.

I think some of the tears are pure frustration because they feel trapped in high sec and have a real aversion to stepping beyond the boundary into low or null, or even wormholes, and to be honest from what I've seen of the entitled views expressed it's maybe a good thing they don't, if they can't take responsibility for themselves in high sec and want their hand held crossing the road, they probably won't do that well beyond it.

The inventory is still crap.
Not affiliated with Goonswarm but I like their business acumen.

I think Selinate has the best threads.
