658 Frames a second in EVE

If Origin allows me, I'll get BF3 figures later.

Nice build - just finished something similar recently, except that I also watercooled the cards (dual Gainward GTX 680's) - guess I'll need to play around with eves settings to achieve similar framerates (intervall immediate or something) - they seem to be capped at around 200 but don't drop below that (image resized by 50% for 56k users ;)).

What original resolution is that EVE screenshot made at, and what do you watch it on ? Is it 1920x1200 or 2560x1600 ? And what monitor ?

Interval one (and also interval default if you have vsynch enabled by default in drivers) will normally cap your framerate to your monitor refresh rate. Interval immediate will remove all caps.
It's odd that your setup caps your FPS to 200 though - are you per chance using two 100Hz monitors ? I doubt it, though, given the odd resolution you play in (2248x405*2-> 4496x810 ? what the heck of a resolution is that ? ) I honestly don't have any personal experience with FPS indicators in EVE in SLI setups, so heck knows how the capping works for that.

you better not keep running the game at that fps if you want your video card to last much longer

1920x1200, BenQ FP241W

Been planning to get a new monitor for about a year...tested a few from HP, Dell and BenQ but I can't get no satisfaction and I feel current technology is gonna get replaced by 120Hz IPS monitors soon or O-LED...so I'm kinda stuck, or, technologically paralysed .

And no, I don't run EVE at interval immediate normally - I was just testing.

If I had 680's in there, I'd probably do the same.

I'm using 3 BenQ XL240T Screens at 120 Hz each (3d Surround) - resolution is set to 6000*1080 for frame correction - although I usually don't play eve like that as I usually triple box with three windows at 1920*1080 each.

Well - I have no idea why it caps at 200 fps - doesn't even make any difference if I turn 3d vision on (which I don't either way because is quite horrible to play in 3d thanks to brackets always appearing in the foreground), but I don't really mind or bother with trying to increase it - it's fast enough for me...

Well - I'd say it's worth to give it a shot with any card - makes for a more spacious system and you can't even hear if the computer is running.
