Yes, but the hulk needs to be in a courier contract for it to work.

No, you can't assign a courier contract to yourself. But you can assign a courier contract to your Corp and do it that way. Or just use an alt to assign the contract.

you can also contract it to a friend or alt and have them contract the package back to you so the hulk owner can still haul it. Double packaging also used to make the package unscanable but not sure if that is still the case.

It was still the case when I last checked a few weeks ago. But why would he want to? No one would bother to gank a freighter for a hulk... but an unscannable package could make people curious.
And yes, courier contracts work for unpackaged ships as said before.

double plastic wrap is a pretty sure indication to ganker scouts that you are attempting to conceal value

they may not kill you for this, or they may

alot of freighter on the kill board are dropping plastic wraps, but many of them are obviously targets for so many other reasons at the same time

I wouldnt gamble 12+ ganknado's on a single plastic wrap myself, but im not everyone.

We are our own worst enemy.

Yeah that was just a side point.
The main point was, using the double wrap method allows you to courier contract your ship to a friend or alt, then they can contract it back to you. Double wrapping is the only way I know of to haul your own unpakaged ship in a freighter. This is what he was asking about was it not?
The point of double wraped packages being unscanable was just extra info.

My question is when you contract your unpackaged ships to an alt for courier and fill those ships with misc ammo and mods, do the additional items count towards the overall volume of the contract additionally can those ships cargo bays be scanned down if the ships arent in a container?
