The following types of bets can be made
Observe the deadlines for making a particular bet!!! - Else your bet is void. TIA for your donation.
ISK will NOT be returned if you make a particular bet after it's deadline!!! Consider it a tax on the stupid. So doublecheck!

Make your bets any time before an individual match starts (check the schedule)
A001-A127: Bet on the winning team of an individual match. New in ATX

Make your bets before 2012.06.30 15:00 EVE time (Start of the Pre-Qualifiers stage)
B128: Bet on a team making it to the Groups stage.
B129: Bet on a team NOT making it to the Groups stage. New in ATX
B130: Bet on a team making it to the Groups stage but NOT to the Finals (knock-out) stage. New in ATX
B131: Bet on a team making it to the Finals (knock-out) stage.
B132: Bet on a team making it to the semi-finals.
B133: Bet on a team winning the tournament. (Not the same as A127, due to the betting deadline)

Make your bets before 2012.07.14 15:00 EVE time (Start of the Groups stage)
C134: Bet on a team making it to the Finals (knock-out) stage.
C135: Bet on a team NOT making it to the Finals (knock-out) stage. New in ATX
C136: Bet on a team making it to the semi-finals.
C137: Bet on a team winning the tournament. (Not the same as A127, due to the betting deadline)

Make your bets before 2012.07.22 15:00 EVE time (Start of the Finals (knock-out) stage)
D138: Bet on a team making it to the quarter-finals (8 teams left). New in ATX
D139: Bet on a team making it to the semi-finals (4 teams left).
D140: Bet on a team winning the tournament. (Not the same as A127, due to the betting deadline)

How to bet

Send your ISK to the character BIG Games (1M ISK increments only) who is a member of the corporation BIG.
Please DO doublecheck!!! There's so many (name look-alike) scammers out there it's just ridiculous.

Also - Follow the instructions TO THE LETTER on what to enter in the "reason" field when you wire ISK.
Use the "Bet Calculator" on the AT10 website to know what bet code to enter (example : AT10-B12837)

ISK will NOT be returned if you mess it up!!! Consider it a tax on the stupid. So doublecheck!

Depending on what error you make, your ISK is lost (TIA for your donation), or you might simply be getting BIG Lottery tickets which isn't half bad (As the same char is used for ticket purchases to The BIG Lottery)

So again - Doublecheck!!!

Each year I spend way too much time on double-checking for people who, then, turns out to have messed up.... It's not rocket science people...

This year we have a lot of new types of bets that can be made.

Last year a lot of excellent suggestions where made in the [BIG Betting] AT9 thread on new types of bets people would like to see.

I think I've covered just about all of them this year.

Further more I've, for the first time, introduced betting on individual matches.
Bets can be made up until the match is scheduled to start.

All of these new types of bets, and *especially* the betting on individual matches is going to mean a TON of extra work doing payouts so I really hope you all will enjoy them.

I will try to make payouts as bets are decided (matches ended involving the bets) - Ie. as soon after a weekend as possible (as RL permits etc).
But please be patient, as I don't sit ready to pay out ISK after each and every match, nor stay up all night to do so.

I'd kinda like to enjoy the tournament myself as well

I hope all the varied betting options will allow the rest of you to add a little bit of extra excitement to the tournament as well - Having a few ISK riding on the results of matches tends to have that effect

Also as it is very early days yet for the tournament (not all teams are even picked yet, nor has a final official scedule been posted ), please feel free to post suggestion for other bet types you'd like to see.

As there's a month to the first match yet, I probably could add a few more bet types, if enough people would like to see a particular type of bet.

Tell me what works, and what doesn't and I'll see what I can do about it.
