Well I don't know if I am "bitching". I understand your sentiment, but I wouldn't want to put words in anyone's mouth but I will accept I am inquiring.

I'm not sure what a "DMV" is, but I can't agree with that approach. I always find that calmly explaining the facts in clear English should be more than enough.

In short, Elijah Bry'an Baudoin, I think I can sum up your petition response in this.
The logs show nothing.
Sentinel Smith, in my situation I believe that would be better than any response to date.

A little update for my petition. I had it looked at and responded to after 5 days, which to be fair was a pretty good response time when the Inferno Expansion release is taken in to account.

DMV is the Department of Motor Vehicles, famed for it's long lines. What you're doing is shouting from the back of the line. No matter how calm you think you are, everyone else is patiently waiting in line, and you're the one shouting.

Anyway, Not sure if you missed my other post, but has your petition not gotten any response, or is it that it hasn't been resolved yet?

Ah yes, we have similar. I believe your analogy is apt.

I don't quite think this is a case of shouting from the back of the line as I have indeed have been responded to. So to that point, I am indeed at the front of the queue. I simply wish to conduct a dialogue that is not measured in weeks. The issue is quite simple, has been explained in plain English to CCP and for some reason they seem unable to correct it.

I am resigned to the fact that I will simply have to escalate this issue but I am simply not sure who to take it to at this point.

I know this might seem churlish at a first glace but if I am repeatedly contacting people who do not feel empowered to correct the issue it simply results in time not being spent on petitions that they do feel empowered to resolve.

I apologise. I missed your previous post, but I think I have answered your question in my response above.

I am very pleased that you have had a positive result. I hope that I soon discover that my petition is as successful.

If the response time is long, it's probably that the issue is complex. If you're having to escalate, it could be anything. We might be able to help more if you provided more insight into your issue.

That explains a lot towards some replies on the forums.
You know.... the ones that got removed after sobering up?

Those only happen when they get Beer in their sodastreams.

I only said that my petition had been answered, I did not say it had been resolved satisfactorily as sadly it has not. Still waiting on all my items to be returned. Also gonna be suggesting that perhaps when a corp gets shut down, that it might be an idea for any assets to be taken out first, rather than deleted with the corp.

That does not seem like an acceptable situation. If you go to the trouble of creating it then CCP should at least respond.

I would even hazard that they should do their best to resolve it as well. Historically I have found the responses to various petitions to be rather glib I am afraid.

You have been stuck at a gate for over a week?

Did you put in a "stuck" petition? If so, over a week with no response really is not acceptable in my opinion.

I should hope that CCP at least compensate you with some game time as a gesture of goodwill for inconvenience caused.

Sadly another day has passed with no correction of the issue raised with CCP.

I contacted them again with further information but it doesn't seem to be getting me anywhere.

I have Hilmar's email address so I am drafting an email to him.

Does anyone know of any other CCP email addresses I should try?

Have you had a response or no? I'm not clear on that.

If you have, it may be that your issue is complex.

Go ahead an briefly describe you issue, and maybe we can help.

Sorry, I'll clear things up somewhat. I have had a response but it was rather glib.

The issue is not complex as far as I see it and should be relatively to fix based on details provided back and forth to date.

I do not mean to be rude to anyone at CCP but I feel that language barriers may be the problem here. There simply seems to be a basic problem of communication or understanding of the English language.

That or my descriptions of the problem are just too nuanced.

Either way looks like now the CCP "crunch" of working on petitions is over we can expect to move back into a rut of what seems to be neglect.

A new day and no response.

I must confess my confidence in the petition process is wavering somewhat.

You have had a response. Stop claiming you haven't.

Response time is the measure of petition > first response, not resolution since some issues take time to resolve.

Try to describe your issue here, and we might be able to help or at least give you an idea how long to expect it to take to resolve.

Hello again.

The issue is very easy to correct as I have demonstrated to CCP several times. So I measure their response in the time it takes the petition to be resolved. All information has been provided to them, no stone left unturned.

A resolution would take moments. I simply suspect they don't understand what is being asked of them.

As for a resolution time? That will be the time it takes CCP to recruit people who can read the words I have written, so that may be variable.

I also emailed various staff members including the CEO to see if that assists the situation.

What issue?
It's probably not nearly as simple as you think.
They still need to investigate to make sure they're not doing the wrong thing.
