EVE audio question

Is it possible to have EVE audio disabled while it is in the background? I am running EVE in fixed window mode and would like not to hear audio from the client when I tab across to other things. I didn't see a "disable audio when in background" option.

Thanks.

It is all or nothing for Eve sound

Just hit ESC when you have the client up and select the Audio Tab

I think I have world and music disabled. I only hear Aura and alarms. Not too annoying when tabbed out.

I run 6 clients at times, so world and music is a little bit too much to handle.

Same here, only have the warning sounds on.

And let's say that those things are quite handy when you are alt tabbed out of EVE.

*Each of my clients uses a slightly different volume, so I can more or less pinpoint which of my clients gave that sound*

I will never understand how people handle six different characters, or what you do with six different characters. I'm sure they've all got a purpose .. I'm probably just too dumb to know how they could all have one.

But, back on topic. You can disable the audio different parts of the audio through the little slider bars in its section of settings. Alternatively, you can just get rid of all sounds by unchecking the box that says "Audio Enabled". I don't know of a way to make the audio vanish when the window is tabbed out though ... you might want to look for a third-party program.
