I really don't see how this could cause a problem. The prices of Ice and Oxytopes will go up, true. But there are other places to mine Ice. As I understand it, the goons are focusing on highsec. They cannot possibly control enough ice rings to impose the large scale monopoly that would be needed to make the market crash. V.E has enough oxytopes in storage to sustain a new wh base for months, and i'm sure we're not the only ones. I really think all this crap about crashing the market is the goons trying to scare everyone into buying up Ice and oxytopes so that we jack up the prices, not them.

There are lots of other places to mine blue ice besides hisec: Cloud Ring, Fade, Fountain, Malpais.

Please, come mine ice there. We welcome you to our regions with open arms!

I know it's probably posted somewhere already, but on the subject of using throwaway newb alts to keep CONCORD in a belt... petitionable or no? This has been rampant in the systems where the Ice Interdiction is taking place.

It's just as easy to use throwaway newb alts to draw them away from the belt, sooooo... I mean, maybe, but who cares? It's a lot easier to let them think they're safe, then use the newb alt to draw CONCORD right as you're making a run.

Be careful making absolute statements, I am willing to accept that goons doesn't support bots, but there is a possiblity that members within goons bot despite the policies.
